Looks like Celtic got lucky, Barcelona absolutely DOMINATED the stats, 66% possession
Depends where you get your stats - Sky Sports had Celtic's possession at a meagre 11%, while the Guardian newspaper says 14%... either way, possession doesn't mean anything unless you make something out of it!

I've noticed this as well...UEFA have Celtic down as having 33% too...

Regardless I think its a pointless stat, I challenge anyone to find me a game in the past 2 years where Barca didn't dominate that stat! Even Madrid can't get the ball of that lot.

As a United fan i have to admit that i didnt really watch our match last night, i watched the Celtic game! i missed quite a bit of the United game!..

..but what a game it was at Celtic Park!..and the atomsphere was incredible!!!

From what I seen of the highlights they obviously had to turn the mics down...the atmosphere was even louder in person. 👍

I think they turned them down yeah, i couldnt really hear the commentators for some of the match as it was so loud!!

At the very end when we were waiting for the whistle to go, literally everyone was Whistling like crazy and it was literally hurting my ears.

By the way, well done to your United. :D Always impressed with how you guys always get the results when push comes to shove.

Yeah it was a typical United performance in europe last night!..was one nill down for over half an hour, but then hit three goals in the last thirteen minutes!!..but we have easily qualifyed for the knockouts with four wins from four..

Top of the group as well. We have 12 points, the next team has 4 and there are only 6 more points available.

Here was the display before the match. :D

So the CL is back tonight!

British games are..Benfica-Celtic, Juventus-Chelsea and Galatasaray-United....United are already through and have left several keys players behind, Arsenal need a win to go through, dont know what Celtic need tonight though..but i assume its a win!

Barcalona are playing now, away to Spartak Moscow and are 3-0 up at half time!!

Draw will be a good result for them..as your home to Nordsjalland in your next CL game and you should easily win to qualify then..

Im watching the Chelsea game as well, even though United are playing..not really bothered about that one as we are already through..

And that effectively puts Chelsea out.

That's pretty premature. Shakhtar are losing in Denmark and Chelsea aren't out of this one yet.

I'd say there's more chance of Chelsea qualifying than not qualifying.

Need a goal though!...Gala 0-0 United at half time, great chance for Powell towards the end!!

I think you spoke too soon. Juve just gone 2-0 up and Shakhtar are winning 4-2

I forgot, United don't know what it's like to get a tough group do they :sly:

We are still not out of it, never write Chelsea off. Plus we still have a chance of getting through if Juventus get beaten in their final group game.

Thinking about it you had an easy group last season.... but look what happened :D Looking at your age though it's easy to see your football history probably isn't that great.

United fan at 14? you probably don't know too much about your own clubs history.

Sorry to the rest of you guys, sore loser here but I dislike bitter United fans that should be supporting other English clubs.

See, I like being a Wednesday fan because the season becomes meaningless for us so much earlier than the rest of you and I don't have to invest any time in giving a crap.

I actually know quite a lot about their History. I could give you a lecture on it if you like. Last season Fergie did what he usually does and played a weakened team against "easy" opposition. The result: We end up in the Europa league. If I had to do a 5000 word essay on a subject matter of my choice, I would choose the history of Manchester United.

And yes, if Chelsea beat Nordsjaelland next game and Shakhtar beat Juve, then they are through. Except seeing how Juve usually play (defensive) I think Juve will go through.

Well done to Galatasaray! good win for them..i thought it we put in a decent performance though, considering we put out a weakened team!

In this day and age anybody that has the internet can give a lecture (as you call it) on their team :sly:

Anyways, fair play to Juve, they gave us a footballing lesson. A striker and a world class CB is needed in January, not that I can say anyone was at fault for both goals, as they both took wicked deflections. We need a miracle with help from Shakhtar :scared:
