I saw that as well! lol

I hope it livens up a bit, im watching this on a new 40' tv!:sly:

I think the two host country games have been the most fun to watch for me so far.

Also loving the "magic spray" they use on injured players, don't really get that .

1-0 Sweden.

1-1 Shevchenko

EDIT: Double tree'd

EDIT 2: 2-1 Shevchenko again!!!

That one was even more impressive. That window looked smaller than the ball...

Too quick ;). This is getting close to Poland-Greece in terms of excitement.

The quality from Poland and Greece was dubious, but the quality in this match is terrible. These are easily the two weakest teams in the tournament so far and, given the surprisingly good England-France match, these should be the two teams that fail to qualify from this group.

If sweden cant beat ukraine then theres no way the can beat france and england to make it through..

I like how Ukraine should win its first ever Euro match, I'm a fan of those Cinderella type stories.

England's extended defending impressed me earlier, as well as did the play of Nasri (sp?) for France.

Now it will be interesting to see if Ukraine can pull a result, even a draw, against either the English or the French. I know I will be cheering for Shevchenko and his group of underdogs ;).

Fantastic scenes in kiev...ukraine have atleast given themselves a chance of going through, sweden need to improve or thats it..

What a terrible, terrible, terrible game. That is the worst game I've seen Sweden play for a long time. The 2nd goal, I mean, Mikael Lustig should be covering that space... And we're probably out, we can't possibly beat France or England.

The first 45 minutes was awful soccer from our side.

Well I wouldn't count Sweden out yet... We are talking about France and England. England who well just can't seem to get things done in high profile tournaments and France who imploded last time out. You never know... Best thing about sports :)

I think the winner of group D will be decided on goal difference between France and England, with France winning it. I think England will be able to win against Sweden and Ukraine, but we never seem to score that many goals.
It won't be a walk over anyway, England have a woeful history against Sweden, As far as I know we haven't beaten them in a competitive match. And Ukraine will be desperate to get through the group stages seeing as they are joint hosts. But as long as we do get a goal and manage to keep a clean sheet, well that's all that's needed.
After that who knows.

Yes but after that shoddy display at Wembley not too long back im not too disconfident.

Two decent looking games tonight..czech rep v poland and grecce v russia...

I'm hoping Czech's get over Greece, and Poland create a fairy tale upset, like Ukraine yesterday.

i didnt know who were playing tonight!.. i got it from the newspaper, i read it wrong!

It is grecce v the czechs and poland v russia later..

Good, just what i wanted. Fastest goal of the tournament, greeks on the back foot like against poland, but expect them to fight back.

2-0 already? Greece are really falling apart at the back. Nice pass from Gebre Selassie, but a messy goal in the end.

If Greece manage to make a surprise comeback after the way they've been performing up to this point, then I'll be fairly disappointed. I kinda want to see the Czechs get a good result in this tournament, especially after losing 4-1 to Russia.

I'm still backing Poland in Group A though (not sure about their chances really), plus if Russia's form continues then they should be group winners.
