Italy won, and really deserved it this time! They played quite fair, holdin the ball on their feet, and got really many unlucky opportunities where they could score during the game! A fair end for a very good e cool game, in my opinion

Anyway, i don't like too much when we win at penalties, i hate when play a good match but we ara unable to make a goal, but we deserved to win, england was just a wall to be honest, i was expecting more.

An England fan who isn't amazed at Rooney. Not quite sure what Cole did wrong, apart from the penalty, been putting in solid displays for England for years now, imo anyway.

Italy deserved it to be fair, pirlo run the show all night with some great long balls and the composure of the guy to chip a penalty when italy just gone a penalty down is unreal.

I think England can be happy with their overall performance as when you look at their team they are painfully weak. Full of inexperience and mediocrity, experience and inferiority, they did well to get this far. They can argue that the ref was biased but at the end of the day, they just don't have the talent and the talent they do have they chose to leave on the bench.

Will be supporting Germany and Italy now. Hope one of them can beat the disgraces that are Portugal and Spain.

Italy deserved the win. I thought it'd be a better game. England had very few chances and the alter it got in the game, the more obvious it was that they would settle for a tie and go into PKs. Congrats to Italy!!! You have a major task facing Germany on Thursday!!

As for Spain x France, I knew Spain would win that match. And now I count down the days until Wednesday where my Portugal faces the Spanish neighbors!!!!

Just because you always get your ass kicked by Portugal doesnt mean you have to be like that . Spain doesnt have a better team or plays better football. 50/50 chances for each side. Hate both teams, not really sure who I'd rather won. Spain are better and have less chance of losing in the finals but it would be nice to see Portugal lose so that all the Portugal fans on here get mad.

Think it will be a similar game to the 2011 champions league semi between Barcelona and Real Madrid.
