How many yellow cards have there been?? it must be in double figures?! xavi off pedro on, no torres!!

Well if they dive like this in the Olympics in August, Spain and Portugal will be topping the water-sports category

And a great opportunity destroyed by Portugal...

Not a single ball by Ronaldo has been on goal.

And you were saying about being dirty minded ...

Ronaldo's finishing has been really poor throughout the tournament and he might just have thrown it away there.

 Just seen how dirty that sounded.

No, the guy who gave him the ball screwed up also. As a team. :P
True but Ronaldo's shooting today has been crap.

Well, that's it. 0-0 full time. Going into Extra Time.

Portugal is making a great pressing and dominated most of the Time. If anyone deserves to be winning is Portugal.

The BBC commentators said something very similar to that at a very similar time. Apparently the guy in charge of the on-screen graphics was annoyed by it as, immediately, a graphic appeared that said Spain had completed 25% more passes and had 20% more possession...

Either team have looked like they could do something at any moment, but the more reliably dominant team has been Spain. It's not overwhelmingly in their favour, but it is in their favour.

This match could be great. It's been spoiled by two things:
  • Many Portuguese players' insistence on falling over
  • The referee

Both sets of players are a little easily felled, but the Portuguese players are getting ridiculous. The referee, early on, was pandering to them too much and giving non-existant free kicks against the Spanish. He's now being over the top and doling out the cards he should have given earlier on to prevent this. There'll be a red in Extra Time.

I think there will be a sending off in extra time as well, the entire portuguese back 4 is on a yellow card!!

Spain can't pass, Portugal can't shoot on target. Looks like both teams watched too much of the England vs Italy match.
