More like this :) I really adore the square tube madness of these cars.

Much like the Mini Moke, Scamps used the drivetrain and suspension from the classic Mini and were built in UK by a small company from 1969 to early nineties. There were 3 generations of them:

MK1 (wedge-shaped nose)

MK2 (square-ish nose)

and MK3 with the octagonal nose

Everything after the front end depends on the owner really, there are Scamps with 3 axles, 4WD, vans, etc. You can find a lot of info and pictures with build logs in http://www.scampownersclub.co.uk/ if you're interested :)

No problem, I've been drooling over them for quite some years now, really digging the concept. But even in the UK their prices have gone up quite a bit :D Been thinking of maybe building a sort of a replica since the bodies are not much more than square tubes and some angles, using maybe VW drivetrain as those are plentiful here. Maybe one day :P

No, the Mustang had an I4 from 1974-1993. Prior to that, the base engine was a variety of inline 6 cylinders ranging from 170ci to 240ci. 1994 and up, you are correct. I think you need to brush up on your history

The variety of inline 6's are 2.8L-4.1L. (179-250Ci)

The only inline-6 mustangs are the 1964.5-1973 Mustangs, than the 1979-93 Fox-Body Mustang.

I mean 170-250. I think Foxes got inlines at some point (rare, mostly V6) but it still wasnt the base engine. That was the I4. Pre 74 only had V8s and 6 bangers.

I don't know why, but I quite like the Ford Crown Victoria, just the newer ones.

The Mazda RX-500 is also very odd looking, but it has a nice charm to it. It's different. That's why I like it.

It was '79 to '82 than the I6 was replaced with the 3.8 V6.

The only Buick that is at all appealing to me is the GNX.

Also: "Front and rear spoilers reduced aerodynamic drag." Everything about that statement seems wrong. Even assuming they aren't on a brick, spoilers don't work that way, and that Century is the very antithesis of "aerodynamic". I love those sorts of things in old car ads.

It's not the prettiest car in the world, but it's certainly better that some cars out there. I don't have any real beef with it, other than the fact it's not incredibly reliable. A friend of mine had a black one and we were always fixing something wrong with it. Though I suspect a lot of it was due to the previous owner doing a hack job on everything and then half-assing it all on top of it.

I'm guessing this. I'm no mechanic, but everyone of these you can find is usually has ghetto-rigged everything.

Though I find it great looking with the lights down, I think it's just a snarling ugly beast with them up.

If you're looking at the back, or even the middle, you don't really notice it, but when you get to the fro-OH MY GOD! :scared:

Looks a lot like this, now that I think about it.

It was pretty rough. He ended up selling it to a friend and bought full size '80s Chevy with a V6 after.

If that grill would disappear it would be much better.

I'm surprised you say that considering it's probably the most subtle use of it that BMW has done. You would have to change up the styling of the bumper a lot to fit the design of the car without the use of it, I wonder what that would look like.

The moke is not really pretty, unlike the original Morris Mini, but the moke is kinda cute:scared:, I would have one, would look better with mags

Has bigger wheels and tyres..looks more in balance...
