What so it's going to be at the same place from now on?

I was just thinking that it doesnt look to have masses of space for say, 20-25 people like at 8.

It doesn't. It can house 10 drivers - maybe 11/12 if I get creative. But that's just the drivers and just the garage...

Surely not all three cars broke down?

Nope. In an astonishing coincidence, all 3 work, although the Volvo is awaiting the aquisition of a very expensive circle of paper. I got the train because father Roo works for the railways, and has done for some time, so I get all my train travel free, apart from the Underground. So instead of spending £80 on fuel, I spent £8 on the Tube.

Famine, I forgot to ask: 2 LANs = 12 people, so why only 5 tabley things? Bung one of the sets of shelves in the dining room for bonus space.

Edit: Pre-emptive answer, ta.

Attach another table to the back of the garage door. Just as long as it isn't one of those electrical ones which go up to the roof. Hmm, any door would probably be a pain if you opened it. Though it could be very funny.

Sounds like a good perk, Roo 👍

I suppose I might as well, even though I may regret it...

Any request for special food? I know that I won't be getting a lift unless I bring shortbread. Anything else?

Space. The shelves in the garage are an obstacle (Milford Cubicle won't let me move them) and mean I can only fit 2 pairs on the left side, compared to 3 on the right.

However, I think I can fit a single in the gap and I have my unit upstairs which isn't fixed to anything. So 12 may ultimately prove possible.

Yes, that's because when it's not being a LAN venue for the majority of the year, it's still a garage and I need to store garagey type things in it.

*waits for slap*

Leave the tickle out. ;)

Dixieists, you have some thinking to do. If you're coming, pick a car, 'coz' there's a new game in town, and you can find out all about it here.

It's worked pretty well in test, so get a bit of practice in while you can. ;)

Plenty of Dutcho events on the board now, that will be a fun day! I might even throw in a couple of Nono faves too.

I've got two good Pick'n'Mixes, a themed Handicap, the 'Pick Your Own' detailed above, and of course, the Clio Enduro.

Should be a good craic. :)

BTW, lifts from Banbury to Yorkshire going spare at the moment. Freddie will seat four in some vague semblance of 'comfort' (as opposed to being dragged along the floor, or riding on the roof) and as long as you bring earplugs or an iPod to drown out the big-cam burble, you'll be just fine. :D

Dont worry alex can fit in the glove box :sly:

Is Freddie making the trip to knockhill before the dixie?

The good news is that extra parking space is on the cards. So hopefully car juggling will become a thing of the past :)

I only remembered that someone had moved my car when I couldn't get back into the diver's seat.... 💡

I had a similar experience at the Nono. Got in my car after 'someone' moved it, only to find my driving position to be similar to that of a crash test dummy after a 40mph impact test in a Chinese micro car.

Yeah, sorry. That was the height of bad manners. We'll stop it shortly.

Right, balls to it, mark me down as definitely coming, I missed the last one because of my absolute ****ing b***h of an ex so I'm not missing this one.

Yay, new blood... :dopey:

What should I be looking to bring?
Not sure my TV will fit in the car...

Fancy meeting in Banbury and convoying?
Also, lifts in my car are available from the Midlands, feel free to bring your own USB stick with music on. :) Seat space depends on what I'm bringing, because boot space isn't that amazing

Moglet> You'll need to PM me for the number of the hotel then unless you're planning on travelling home again or just coming for one day!
If you liase with TheCracker and Sureshot, they're 2 people I believe are coming along but haven't contacted me yet for hotel details. There is a £50 per night room with a double and two singles which will fit all three of you in and work out relatively inexpensive. I'd be booking it sooner rather than later or you'll end up having to sleep in your car/in the garden...

Would any TV fit in your car?

I think general equipment goes along the lines of:

Headphones
GT4
Newtworkable PS2 (Slim or Fattie with network adaptor)
Wheel/Pad
TV if you can
