Real racing is not what I meant. Last time I was there, i my last lap, I was racing against a VW Golf. I just mean, lets meet go to the ring, drive a couple of laps altoghter and have fun....Except racing isn't aloud at the Ring's public days 👎

They might notice 6 of us lining up in grid formation at the Start/Finish line - someone else would have to stand at the front of the grid to hold up the numbers "3... 2... 1..." and then run out of the way at the start of the race. You'd get away with it if you keep quiet about it.....
That could work. Or we all drive up the ring, nice and slow. They might notice 6 of us lining up in grid formation at the Start/Finish line - someone else would have to stand at the front of the grid to hold up the numbers "3... 2... 1..." and then run out of the way at the start of the race.

When will you be finished?? I'm curieus. And I've not quite finished yet...
Perhaps keep the 5 lap format for the series involving faster cars - like Supercars, JGTC's etc., and drop to 4 laps for the handicap races, 'slower' car series (like Muscle Cars, Coupes) and just 2 (or 3) laps at Le Sarthe? The handicap series does take forever, although it is arguably the most fun (and most frustrating!)...? In any case, more races is 👍I just had a thought for UKGTP7. Since tyre wear isn't a factor on GT4 LAN games (unlike GT3 iLink games, where it most certainly was) we don't really need 5 lap races. If we dropped down to 4 lap races we'd get 20% more races done - or a whole extra series (we missed out potential races with Group Bs, Supercars and FWD Coupes this time round, all of which will poke their heads into UKGTP7). It'd drag the handicap series - which I personally love, but feel it just takes too damn long - to a manageable time too.
Any UKGTP-participants got any thoughts?

It wasn't much fun for me, and I was in it! I was fourth, well behind the 3 ahead, and well ahead of the 2 behind me. It did seem to go on forever.(Ironically, even though the 5 lap TVR race at Le Sarthe was probably the longest race of the weekend, it was also one of the best to watch - although we did go outside to play frisbee for 5 minutes, we only missed just over one lap - I think what made it watchable was the fact the it was a 3-horse race for the majority. If someone had been leading by a mile (literally) by midway, it might have been a different matter)

TheCrackerFor me the handicap series is the UKGTP event - but it does drag on somewhat, leaving you feeling a bit drained. Perhaps if we make the whole event shorter we could come up with a way of making it closer during the final few races. Once you get someone onto the last car or two they always manage to still win the races before many others get to the same level.
Perhaps the last car should be something along the lines of a Vauxhall Vectra
Donbenni in this photo it looks like you looked at the TV way too close:

But werent you ever told to not look at the TV to close. Also Famine, when you did the TVR race did you ever think someone was going to bring anything about me up, while you lot were racing.
