5.Hyundai Genesis 3.8 feels sporty rwd good manual trans fun car.
4.Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon/Hennessy Hammer 700hp enough said there.
3.Juke-R basically Juke body on shortened GT-R chassis major surprise factor.
2.Porsche Carrera GT purest road legal car V10 race engine, race car sound, only reason that this is #2 is it's expensive best drivers car is cheap thrill on budget IMO.
1.Caterham r-type V8 swap (only seen one, scary idea)

Hard to say the Juke GTR is an ultimate drivers' car if hardly anyone has ever driven it.

Besides, I'd think the mid-engined V6 Micra would be a much better steer.

The first Genesis was kind of rubbish to drive. The new one is very, very good, but nowhere near as good as a Miata.

My interpretation of a "driver's car" is one that would be likely to be regularly driven, both on roads and tracks, be involving and fun, be able to bring out the driver's capabilities and even help him/her improve. So, an honest car. As a bonus, it should be reasonable to maintain. So with that, I'm thinking:

- Mazda MX5
- Honda S2000
- E36 BMW 3-Series (E30s may now be too expensive).

With caveats:
- C5 Corvette (I'm not sure how easy they are to maintain)
- Late 80s/early 90s Acura Integra or Honda Civic/CRX (If, and it's a big if, there are any left that haven't been hack modified and abused).
