Red or Blue

Take a shot of a red or blue car. Race cars are included, it's enough if the car is mostly either color. But here is the catch: if you use a red car it must be fitted with one of these rims: Yokohama 003 or 004, Enkel 032, 040 or 041. With blue car you must use Yokohama 002 or Enkel 029.

How's that possible, if they're unedited?

Well, I found a (mostly) blue victim and tried again.

A bit less dull than the Mazda, but still not competitive. Must try harder.

How's that possible, if they're unedited?

The difference may just be in the apparent brightness, as a result of a contrasting background. But if you want to investigate further you would need to have a close look at the individual pixels in Photoshop.

I compared watermarks of some completely un-edited photos on my hard drive, and it seems that the watermarks in those are not the same, they change with the color(s) of their background. Also the photos we see in this comp are uploaded and downloaded from the net and possinly resized which complicates this further. So I don't think there is any foolproof way to tell if a shot has been edited. But if someone knows one do tell me.

So for now we just need to look at a photo as a whole to see if it looks edited. If you suspect something please PM me. All I can do now is to ask people to follow rules. The idea of this comp is lost if editing is done. And we do have plenty of other comps where you can spend hours editing one photo if you wish.
