There will never be any obnoxious cars in GT5 so I guess this is another pointless thread :banghead:

This thread wasn't intended for GT5 but an alternative take ( like TT was for bikes ) on the same concept with different vehicles.
I specifically used the term vehicles, not cars and you could have read the opening post on the first page where I explained what this thread was created for.

Pointless? No doubt but mainly because of what this thread has become ( with the occasional exception ) as my main goal was to see if another PD game using the same tracks and basic lay-out of a GT-game would be welcomed and if so, what kind of vehicles you would like to be able to drive in such a game.

GT is for cars, TT is for bikes, there's a whole range of different vehicles which can't be considered both but would still be fun to experience in a game perhaps with the same level of attention a PD game in general has got.
It wasn't meant to be a serious proposal ( as I can't see it happen either unfortunately ), but it wasn't meant to become a free for all car-freakshow either.
It did and I gave up caring for it ( despite it still being popular apparantly as it keeps popping up ) despite my initial intention to make people suggest and hopefully explain why they would like a certain vehicle included in this hypothetical game.
Not just to see all the different proposals but also to learn more of the different eclectic preferences or the possibly odd idiosyncratic ( or secret until now ) wishes some of you might have and no other current game caters for.

Everybody here probably loves either cars, bikes or both but maybe some also like for example buses, big-rig trucks, combine harvesters or trikes, etc.
Apart from games like GTA, etc. these vehicles aren't available as licensed and truthfully replicated models to experience at least in a console game.
As a kid I played with all sorts of different toy-vehicles, not only cars ( although the majority was ) but trucks, cranes, tractors, etc.
Since playing driving games is a bit like that ( albeit slightly more acceptable ) in spirit I just wondered if some of you would also like to "play with" the other vehicles we used as a child ( or use in real life as adults ).
Only this time safely contained on a disk to use once in a while, nothing more.:)

What about that Citroen CX motorhome that Jeremy Clarkson drove in the recent series, or the Panda limo he drove a few years ago. Top Gear has a whole bunch of unlikely vehicles for GT5

Well, go karts are in gt5, so how about these? Limos, drifting. The philippines eco car! Im filipino too, so i want it on gt5. Reliant robin? PD says you can flip cars, so why not add it? Rocket drag cars. Drag racing is boring without them. And finally, top gear cars! These include their limos, the cop cars and hopefully the rocket reliant.

^ O? Ganun ba? Pero mas gusto pa ko yun V8 Owner Type na nasa Cebu!
(Oh? Really? But I rather like the Owner Type Jeep with a V8 from Cebu instead!)

Seeing the Hammerhead iThrust, and James Mays Alfa/Saab limo makes me wonder how much fun it would be driving them around the Top Gear track.
Along with the rest of the trios mad creations.

The Fiat Panda and MGF limos would be a good start, and the Chevy Lacetti and Suzuki Liana should be there too.

Big trucks, busses, earthmoving equipment, tanks and APCs, transporters, the moon car, Mars rovers, Land Speed Record cars, bicycles, and especially Tractor Pull, these are all vehicles that I think meet the criteria of the OP.

I would like to see a "real construction simulator" with bulldozers, loaders, dumptrucks, paving equipment... You build your own race track and then import it into GT5 and race on it.

Vehicles on the Moon, Mars, or another planet would be really interesting. PD could modify the physics to account for the different effects of gravity and aerodynamic drag for them. It could use "real" cars, but it would be more realistic to use things that actually have or might someday drive on the surface of another planet.

@Vanishing Boy, those are mad jeeps. How about the jeepney? If you dont know what they are, wiki them. They are the iconic transport of the philippines. Think about them racing round with roaring v8's and making sooo much exhaust smoke. PD, add it.

Well I will laugh if this is in GT5 but doubt it very much I hope.

Hey, it could help showcasing the new GT5 rollover dynamics.
Also since it was featured once on Top Gear, maybe it's not that unlikely to appear in the game.

Probably been mentioned but 'Oliver' from the Top Gear Botswana special would be cool to rally.

oHells yeah! I think this thread is making a serious argument for a 'Top Gear' themed dlc pack. Sponsored by Larsen's Biscuits and Peniston Oils.

Honestly, who wouldnt want to take this around a rally track?

If they are going to include electric cars in the game why not go for solar?

Actually saw this at a car-show a few years ago, I actually would love to see this car in GT5.

I was going to post the Tumbler but someone beat me to it.

They should really put more SUV's in the game, including well known ones like the Land Rover and the Jeep's.

I had to add this car in here as "Unlikely Vehicles".

I went through the whole thread, and if the images wasn't displayed I didn't see it.
