Taking into account the added cars from the last couple of updates, 12 each time, and what vehicles we've had previously in other Gran Turismo titles, i'd like you to use your best educated guesses to pick what 12 cars you think the 1.15 update will contain and lets see who gets closest.

- This is not a wish list, this is a thread for realistic predictions.

I'll kick off with mine:

• Bugatti Chiron
• Chaparral 2D
• Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 '69
• Ferrari 250 GTO '62
• Ford RS200 Gr.B Rally Car
• Honda/Acura NSX '91
• Jaguar XJ220
• Mazda MX-5 NA
• Lamborghini Miura '67
• Nissan R33 GT-R
• Peugeot 205 T16 Gr.B Rally Car
• Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept*

* I know they've said this is for an April update - but what's to say that won't be when 1.15 drops?

Looking at @TheCracker's list, I'd co-opt the following for my list (and will also assume it's all rolled together into an early-April release):
  • Honda/Acura NSX '91
  • Jaguar XJ220
  • Mazda MX-5 NA
  • Nissan R33 GT-R
  • Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept
Add the Audi VGT in there too. That leaves six more cars?
  • 1957 BMW 507
  • 1970 Chevrolet Nova SS
  • 1971 Ferrari Dino 246 GT
  • 1998 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Coupe
  • 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR TME
  • 2017 Ferrari 812 Superfast

If 1.15 is for April, this means two slots are reserved for Audi Vision GT and GR Supra. So I'm updating my list:

Honda NSX '90
Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex (AE86) '83
Nissan Skyline GT-R V-spec (R33) '97
Nissan GT-R Nismo (R35)
LCC Rocket '07
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6)
Ferrari Dino 246
Sang Kang 240Z
Porsche 911 GT3 (996)
F3500-A (GT4-GT6 Formula GT)

The cars that I think will be in the next update:
'91 NSX
Porsche 918
McLaren P1
new GT350
new Supra
that Audi that they announced
3000GT VR4
R33 GTR
AE86
one of the SEMA cars
a vision GT
another PD Formula

The cars that I wish would be in the update
'96 180SX (or any S13 tbh)
'93 Mustang Cobra (Shame that there's never been a foxbody in any GT game)
'94 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
'90 Galant VR4
'87 GNX
'69 Camaro Z28
a mini truck
FC RX7 (plz)z
Aw11 MR2 (make use of that Toyota licence)
The IMSA 300ZX GTS from GT2
the Espace F1
idk some random supercar

This would be like my perfect list, just needs a C7Z.

Please no more R8 Civics Subarus Corvettes etc etc, if it's already in the game at least want something that isn't already represented in the game.

I already have enough dupes in my garage, I don't want to have to start reading the text as well as look at the icon to know if it's a dupe or not.

I think by December this year we'll have 15 different Supras.
Funny how everybody wanted the Toyota Supra to be included in GTS but this is ridiculous IMO. We already have 2. Now they want to add another one next month. (The FT-1 is also kind of a Supra also)
I personally don't mind the Supra but I don't want so many of the same car with such a small car list.

With the Supra we don't have two of the same car - and we won't have three. We'll have three different cars that happen to have the same model name, separated by 30 years of production.

Just like we have two different Alpine A110s, that happen to have the same model name, separated by 45 years of production. Had Polyphony chosen to add the Alpine A110 Pure Edition 2018 and the Alpine A110 Legende Edition 2018 to the Alpine A110 Premiere Edition 2017, there'd be a justifiable reason for saying they're the same car, but the A110 '72 is as different a car to the A110 '17 as the Supra '88 is to the Supra '18. In fact probably less so, since the Supra '18 that's coming to GT Sport is a racing car...

More cars we can use please, no more Group X, Just would like PD to convert the Race Machines/GT300/GT500 and Rally cars from GT5/6, just have them as base cars too to save on royalties and we can paint them. Ba-Da-Bing

Are we sure that march update Was moved yo April 9th? I understood that Audi vgt Will be revealed that date bit doesn't necessarly mean that Will be released that day in The game

No. But also "What March Update?".

PD has never stated or confirmed a monthly schedule for these content updates. The original post only ever said that "a total of approximately 50 cars" would come by March 2018. It's since turned out that the content updates have arrived at roughly a pace of one every five weeks (actually one every 4 weeks, 6 days: Friday December 22nd; Thursday January 25th; Wednesday February 28th), giving us one in each calendar month since that blog post.

As we now have 37 cars in total, most people are - quite reasonably - assuming that we're due a content update in March, in order to fulfil that original statement of 50 cars by March 2018. Another set of 12 in March would make 49 - "approximately 50" - by March 2018. However, if PD sticks to its schedule for the previous three content updates, the next content update would be due on Tuesday April 3rd...

The fact that the Supra Racing Concept is coming in April, and the Audi Vision GT is due on April 9th could be connected, but there's no real reason at the moment to think that it is connected.

Ultimately, it may all come in one update. Or it might not. Nobody's sure of anything.

While I can certainly see the argument for adding more Gr.4/3 cars (or an entirely new Gr.2 class), I do see why Polyphony would continue the odds-and-ends approach its followed so far.

As the past six months (or year, including the beta) have shown, BoP is hard enough to manage with the existing classes. Throwing more cars at them will only make that harder. And the current approach also forces people to explore more; if BoP does its job, there's less incentive to try all the cars in the game.

Alright, I'd have to agree with you there

I call b.s. on there being no march update .
The PS blog litteraly said " by March 2018" Not April . PD hasn't missed a beat . Just because PD is introducing a car in early April doesn't mean squat . We have gotten an early Feb / March update . Assuming is magically turned into an April update is some hard core mental gymnastics .

We can have the car of april in the update of March, but this car will be unlocked or revealed in april...

IR

That too . PD would still need to release an update to unlock the car . There is no live update feature in GT sport AFIK . If there was the BOP should be adjustable without traditional updates

Very true. It’s my favorite class though and I’m hoping for more GR3 machines.

Fine, I'll throw my hat into the ring.

- Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR (N600) - Rounds out the Viper generations.
- Polyphony Digital Formula Gran Turismo (Gr.X) - I want an early 2000s V10 F1 car to paint up like a Bitten Heroes Jordan or Ferrari F2001.
- Nissan Silvia Spec-R Aero (S15) '02 - Adding some more JDM to the mix.
- Pontiac Firebird Trans Am '78 - Adding some GM American muscle to battle the Challenger and Mustang.
- Audi R8 LMS Ultra (Audi Sport Team Phoenix) '12 (Gr.3) - Probably not going to happen, but I wish.

- Polyphony Digital Ford GT LM Test Car (Spec II) (Gr.3) - Another one that I'd like to see return to Gr.3
- BMW M3 GT '11 (Gr.3) - I like the classic BMW M3 GTLM race car more than the Z4 and M6.
- Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package '12 (N500) - This one was modelled in GT6, so it has a greater chance.
- Ferrari 430 Scuderia '08 (N500) - I'd like this one personally.
- Ferrari 488 GTB '16 (N700) - New to the series. Fits with the Scuderia.

There's a few I'd like to see added in future updates.

I thought it was kinda disappointing that they decided to add the MK3 Supra. I see them a lot in real life so I'm kinda sick of them, and they're not very good cars to begin with. Would've much rather preferred if they added the FC RX7. I'm totally stoked that they added the MR2 though.

Maybe for you. There needs to be a more proper road version of the Corvette than there is, the base model is not a good representation. This would be like me saying there are enough Nissans in the game so we don’t need a 370z. Kinda rude huh?

No, not rude at all, it would be a sloppy analogy though.

So what's the difference between a C7Z and the C7, C7 Gr4 car, C7 Gr3 road car that are already in the game?

Edit : I tried googling myself and still don't know what a C7Z is? C7 Z06? sorry but they all look the same, nothing that the power/weight sliders couldn't fix for you.

I had forgotten about this corvette though, that I wouldn't mind coming to the game, and is probably a good prediction.
