..alright, I'll bite, purely because apparently the longer this kind of thread goes on, the less it's based on reason and logic.

So using reason and logic, there's recently been a trend of each content update containing at least one Toyota road car, all of which have been from the GT6 library, is nowhere near being a "duplicate" of another and has some sort of significant history behind it. Looking at it like that, I wouldn't be surprised to see a 6th generation Celica pop up. It was in GT6, it's certainly unique in the current Toyota lineup, and it has a.. "special".. motorsport history. Or they could go for something that's just Toyota family, in which case all signs would point to the Lexus LFA.

Not unlike the Toyotas, there's basically always been a Lamborghini in the content updates, and it's always been one we already know from GT6. The selection here is a bit wider, but, while several versions were mentioned in the credits, I dare to suggest they're not throwing in alternative versions of the Countach or Diablo just yet, which limits it to Miura, Gallardo and Murcielago. And really, it can be any combination of the above, though, given the theme of classic cars, I'd say the Miura is somewhat likely sooner rather than later.

We have another returning theme for my third guess - Ferrari. And what do you know, it tends to adhere to the same "rules" as Toyota and Lamborghini. Realistically, I wouldn't say there are as many options here, and, being that pretty much the only other feasible car is the 430 which was kind of rendered obsolete by the 458, I can see it being either of the 250s. Maybe the 365? 599?

This is where it gets a bit shaky, because this is sort of where the patterns start to end. Based purely on the last update, I wouldn't be surprised to see at least one more muscle car (probably the Camaro Z28) being added - maybe a C5/C6 Corvette alongside it? That'd fit right into the early-mid-00's american cars mini-theme they've got going with the Viper and the GT. Likewise, with cars like the F40 and F1, they've got a theme of really, really fast cars built in the 90's going too. That means both the RUF CTR and Jaguar XJ220 cannot be discounted either - technically, even the Porsche 959 qualifies, and the whole Porsche thing no longer applies.

That, however, is about as far as one can reasonably predict without going into completely random guesses. There is usually one or two "weird and wonderful" additions per update, too - the Sambabus, the 330/XJ13, the two special Subarus and the F1500T-A - but there's basically nothing to go on aside from that. I guess technically either the Schwimmwagen, Kübelwagen or original Beetle could follow in the footsteps of the Sambabus, or there could be another it-isn't-an-F1-car-because-we-said-so, but evidence for any of that is very limited. Likewise, there's been a grand total of one GT Award car added to the game as of yet, and.. well, one Vision GT car, so anything can happen in either instance.

If we have to talk about tracks, there is one clear trend here as well: first Kyoto got its two layouts combined, then we got a few more variations to Maggiore and most recently we had Blue Moon Bay receive a much-needed-to-justify-the-location-being-in-the-game road course. Now, I don't claim to be an expert, but that leaves Tokyo Expressway, Northern Isle, Broad Bean, Alsace and Dragon Trail as original tracks that have yet to receive an additional layout, of which the most likely seems to be either of the latter two. There is also (still) a point to be made about how Deep Forest Raceway supposedly is nearly ready for a comeback, but that's about the most I'd expect.

Taking into account the added cars from the last couple of updates, 12 each time, and what vehicles we've had previously in other Gran Turismo titles, i'd like you to use your best educated guesses to pick what 12 cars you think the 1.14 update will contain and lets see who gets closest.

- This is not a wish list, this is a thread for realistic predictions.

I'll kick off with mine:

• Bugatti Chiron
• Chaparral 2D
• Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 '69
• Ferrari 250 GTO '62
• Ford RS200 Gr.B Rally Car
• Honda/Acura NSX '91
• Jaguar XJ220
• Mazda MX-5 NA
• Lamborghini Miura '67
• Nissan R33 GT-R
• Peugeot 205 T16 Gr.B Rally Car
• Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept*

* I know they've said this is for an April update - but what's to say that won't be when 1.14 drops?
The Chaparal 2D is probably my most wanted car from gt6 now that i think about it... the 250gto is another huge one for me.

Safe guesses:
Toyota Supra Racing Concept
Toyota Sprinter Trueno (AE86)
Toyota Celica (any)
Ferrari and/or Lambo from GT6
Legendary japanese car(s), maybe one of these: Evo/STI/NSX/R33/350Z/370Z/Civic/S2000/MX-5/RX-8/Silvia - that's a really safe guess, I think
Muscle car(s)
SEMA/Pebble Beach winner

And some mad guesses:
Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione
Lexus LFA
Maybe it's time for a new Porsche?
Tesla Roadster
Nissan GT-R Nismo
Ruf CTR '17

Maybe not in the next update, but I'm sure some of these cars will be in GTS eventually

For some reason this car reminds me of the Solitude Rennstreke circuit which is not longer being used; yet most of the roads which the circuit used still exist. It could very well be created, but that's highly unlikely. Then again you never know...

My guess, another 10 cars no-one really uses, because PD made N*** races and Gr.X redundant.
And 2 cars no-one can ever afford + three new layouts for Alsace :irked:

What I really would like to see:
- 2 NEW tracks (Spa, Trial Mountain or LeMans)
- New Class (Around 10 new Gr.2 Cars)
- Changes to the daily races (More of them, longer races, N*** class back, settings allowed again)
- BoP adjustment (BMW nerfs, McLaren buffs, NSX buff, and so on)
- New/old SR system (the current one needs to be reworked or deleted)
- UI improvements (Deleting liveries in-game in the garage, music-track selection and more)

Thats about my Wishlist for the next update :embarrassed: (I know its too much, but one man can dream, can he!? :P)

I doubt content will come in the 1.14 update. Its almost certain that there will be small updates that fix bugs and glitches. I'm expecting there to be no content update in March and probably the next one is in April. That might have double the amount of new content since they have more time and the update might be named 1.15 or 1.16.

I've posted in the Audi VGT thread my reasons for guessing there will be a March update of 10 cars and then 3 on 9 April including the Supra and Audi Vision GT.

Basically, it all comes down to symmetry in DLC car numbers. 3, 10, 12, 12, 10, 3 = 50
