update 1.05 - Ensure you follow the AUP when posting

I'm level 25 A-spec and B-spec, yet I got pop-ups for:

- rally events for getting to level 15
- a new prize car (Mercedes 190E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II '91)
- new tracks (Nürburgring versions for beating AMG stuff)

So I guess it adds/changes the unlockables of some events and you'll get them as soon as you load the game after the patch.

Second thing you'll notice... New stuff on the GTLife screen:

- "Seasonal Events"
- "Online Collector's Dealership"

Unfortunately, I can't access them because of server maintenance.

Here it says the server is undergoing some maintenance... Damn... Anybody else have this message? I didnt get any update messages yet
I'm in the USA and it is 7:28 am East coast time

prette sure our update will be a little different...with GT academy starting today.

There has to be content...car models, textures, photo locations (wind tunnel baby! OH YEAH).

Because there is NO WAY POSSIBLE that there could be 600Mb of code. The ENTIRE MS Office Suite is 400Mb. And that's 7 programs.

Textures suck up a lot of space (they can, anyway, especially hi-res ones). And per entity (menu, car, etc) they're the biggest part. The next biggest is the model/s, including UV's, etc. Code is but a tiny file, and for cars it's just a bunch of variables anyway.

Or they could be making it so London it in GT mode. Seriously, has anyone ever driven that track in A-spec?

I just hope this update doesn't delete half my save like 1.03 ,it got rid off all my photo's and tracks but kept my cars/ career progress ,so I'll export my photo's and hope for the best!

Oh dear, you have no idea, how big today´s game contens are, are you? 608mb is nothing compared of how much space an actual video game needs on disc ;)

Thank goodness they include detailed changelogs with these updates!

</sarcasm>
Oh yeah :D....

608 is a very big size for a simple patch, the other ones were 139mb... I think they'll add at least a car or 2 (maybe the BMW M1)......
