update 1.05 - Ensure you follow the AUP when posting

- Don't see any new offline events offline. Nothing new in A-spec, B-spec, Special or Licenses. Definitely no Ferrari F1 championship.

- Car prices look to be the same. No new cars either. But I might be wrong on both...

- There is an option to turn off the HUD!

i think this update is truly 150mb or so, as these updates will contain the past updates

1.01-150MB
1.02-150MB
1.03-150MB
1.05-150MB

Except 1.03 was not 450mb.

When stuff's updated, they don't include the previous versions as well. Updating a 10mb file, then updating the same 10mb file again, doesn't mean you have a 20mb update. You just get the latest version of the 10mb file...

I'd agree with you, I've been a software developer for a mere 5 years. Code is tiny.

You sayin' I shouldn't eat my nacho hat :sly:

Even with these new events, there's still stuff they're hiding away. Actual content; cars, tracks, etc.

Unless they've just decided that all the cars neex new physics variables, but wouldn't they then wipe the leaderbo-oh wait.

Are you too lazy to read the 4 small pages this thread has now?

Excuse me but I've been following this thread and no mention or confirmation of the back up save feature as of yet. Don't attack me lots of people want to know other things do they not. I am not at liberty to update so all of us are curious. Especially on the back up feature

Has anyone checked for Leaderboards?

Also I assume that seasonal events is where GT Academy and other things are going to be taking place.

Is that really how most PS3 patches work? I remember when starting up Modnation Racers I had to download 5 or 6 patches which were all installed sequentially. Recently there was another update wich was smaller than most of the ones I had already got.

PS3 patches (if you mean firmware patches) are just the entire firmware, so include all previous fixes.

With game patches, I think it depends on how the developer has implemented it, whether they just make you download the patches sequentially, or make it possible to jump from say 1.00 to 1.05.

Somebody would need to install the game cleanly (or delete game data) and see what it does.

Can't say I'm volunteering for that :)

You should think at textures, sound sample or mesh updates. You will have to send the whole textures, sound waves and mesh packages and the size rises as you blink your eyes.
