When you say "easily", you mean buying the game the day it came out, knowing about the Tomahawk PP "cheat" same day and then grinding 2.5 hours a day for the past 83 days straight? Hmmmm, you clearly have a lot more spare time if that is easy.
The people that claim they don't or would've never used the tomahawk are more salty than the people that did use it to efficiently grind the game. Go figure.

I wouldnt call it a fix, but a band aid: transmission settings no longer account into PP, but they also dont show up in the acceleration values anymore. Though I couldnt care less about the performance of the car in question, the issue comes with how much money PD seemed have to intented to be made on average, which is why the race payout per time is closely identical and which is why (also why) cars have the cost they have. So by allowing to persist for this long, the average income was higher than expected and this leads to higher prices (if they did at all) Also couldnt care about it anyway, the game revolves around driving, and everything else is just a result of this. Just remember to have fun.
PD wanted do this for a while, this is a final nail in the coffin. Now we'll have to get rid of the Tomahawk X from our garages. They didn't want us to grind, they wanted us to work hard for these races. I'm gonna have to buy a brand new Tomahawk X and dispose my current one because of the update.

Why a new one? Just create a blank slate setup and there it is?

Also as soon as you say "work" I can tell you are missing out on the fun. It is not "work" as in work, but it is just a result for doing what you want: drive.

the leader just done 1:40, im doing 1:43 with the NSX

HI! In which difficulty are you playing? Some events seems to be glitched and on Easy AI drivers are faster than Hard AI drivers.

Could you please try on different difficulty levels to see uf that's the case?

If you take a gr 2 car to the 800PP race on Sardegna you get 795k in 25 minutes.
you just need to detune it a little and take hard tyres.

You can take the same car and do the 1 hour race at Spa for 1,5M

Much more fun than doing anything with the Tomahawk.
Use the Nissan GTR GT500 '08. Gr2 and comes in just under 800PP on medium tyres. Fantastic fuel economy and a great car to drive.

hi!
i selected "difficult" at the very beginning of my "career", how can i switch it to easier run?
does it affect the price?

They got rid of all the sub 600pp setups on the car. If there is a new setup available, let me know.

Before the 1.15 update, I had a lot of fun grinding Tokyo, now I can't do it anymore.

Just use the script when not playing the game. Grinding is no fun anyway and the script still works fine.

I will say, though, that before I got tired of grinding I had practiced to the point where I could do 90° turns at 200mph without touching the wall, what a rush. So thank you for unintentionally giving me the incentive to do that, PD XD

How can I do this? Is there a tutorial?

Yeah running the T'Hawk was a rush. Threading the needle at every possible moment.

It's all in the link I posted (which itself has a link to the actual post on psnprofiles). Ignore all downloads listed there except "PS4 Remote Play" and "Latest exe v0.9" (it works for both PS4 and PS5). Make sure to do as they instruct and, once you click Start on the script, do not cover or move the PS remote play window.

The one quirk I noticed was that after the first race ends, the script will stop working until you click the button "ColorP1" which will show a prompt, just click OK on the prompt, and then the script will go on forever as it should until you close it.

Edit:
I will say that for myself, I only use the script to get Legendary cars. I do enjoy a sense of progression via cash earned from actual racing, even the long one that GT7 demands, and it definitely gives me incentive to improve my driving.

But I have a life outside of GT7 and I will never subordinate my real life schedule to any game. Time limited FOMO-based stuff like the legendary dealership doesn't respect my time by design, so I won't respect any limit on "cheating" such things.

Wish they took the time to add compelling content so people don't have to grind. If people are grinding, they clearly want cars and the resources to buy them, but the game is not meeting them halfway by making enough content interesting and/or engaging to make the process interesting.

Just look at the Vision GT races added with this update. Finally, most of these premium cars have a function to be raced on. Winning the races doesn't even crack a dent into the cost of even buying one of those cars for the race, and that's the whole problem. You get peanuts but everything in the game is at a premium.

The delicious tears of Tomabots.

It's pathetic to settle for such a car. Only makes sense if you have hours and hours available to play, every day. If you don't, a Tomahawk race was 17 minutes, while a legit race is no more than 28 minutes. If you have 17 minutes, then you have 28 minutes.

These are the same people who complain about lack of events, then PD adds events and they don't do them because "too long, pays 900,000 Cr./hour (which is already pretty good money for easy races), catch the rabbit (despite Tomahawk being braindead easy)", and so on.

Just do yourself a favor and start using all those cars you bought with Tomahawk money already. You'll be surprised at how fun it can be.

Tomahawk was a "__ __" of FUN
if you were just grinding for credits, I feel sorry for you
now getting $825,000 for playing kill the AI for 1/2 hour
THAT was fun, a boatload of FUN, (not really a "boat")

glad the tomahawk has become more useless. The car has nothing to do with "REAL" for me. So I'm critical of his presence in the game.
Just stay away from the lobbies and track specific hang-outs.

I've joined numerous hang out sessions and it's normally players in tuned road cars, maybe GR3 or 4, the occasional odd-ball with a Sambabus or shifter cart... and then some twonk arrives, gets in a Tomahawk, hits people because they can't react quick enough to control the car and avoid others, sets the fastest lap by 30+ seconds and then leaves.

Anyone notice the update means the Tomahawk Batmobile is no longer licensed to kill in the Tokyo Expressway GT600 event? Before the update, even grinding out 825k credits every 18 minutes seemed a high price in time to pay to acquire all the cars, now it is going to just be more of a grind unless someone finds a new "trick".
You know there's a whole thread on this already? Why you wasting your time making a new one?

I don't think it take a genius to work out that 12 minutes after the release came out, I didn't see any other discussion talking about this particular aspect of it. Thankfully, you have set me straight and provided a helpful link for others that have strayed here and clearly wasted their time when there was another thread.

If you have 17 mins, then you have 28 mins? It isn't about doing one race - how naive. I don't even understand how it "only makes sense" to use Tomahawk if you have hours and hours, it is the complete opposite. Maybe concentrate more at school, major on the math.
As for Tomahawk being easy, i found it a lot more challenging to finish that race in 17 mins and lapping everyone 4 times than doing it at normally speeds - doing laps of 1:21 with lightning reflexes, coming up to back markers at colossal closing speeds on the twisty parts and getting past without touching them or incurring wall touching penalty.
Am just glad I banked enough to get half the cars before they patched it and all the ones I wanted to race including a fair few at 20m.

My constant times were between 14 and 15 minutes. My best time was 14 minutes and 6 seconds, sadly I didn't manage to finish this race under 14 minutes before nerf but it was doable.

could you be more specific?
i can't run the track under 1:43 and those Gr.3 ahead leave me with more than 3" each lap..
My NSX is 799PP with midle tune Turbo and power restriction.
but you agree that others cars are faster than you? Because it is the case for me, even in straight lines.
Maybe they do 2 or 3 stops?
The only one doing 1:40 (and eventually 1:39s) is Portilla on the Viper. But it will pit every 4 laps, so three stops for him. The other guys stop every 5 or 6 laps, so usually the main threat are the Merc and sometimes the Aston. But they are slower than Portilla on raw pace.
All AI cars are terrible lapping slower cars too, so they can't keep that pace once pit stops kick off.

You can put in 1:39's but I agree 1:42's are fine. Lexus RC F GT500 '16 and Nissan GT-R GT500 '08 are pretty good. I'm sticking with the Lexus at the moment - brakes and corners a bit like the Tomahawk (ish), and you can run Fuel 1 for first two laps and Fuel 2 for next 6 laps to get you over halfway, no need to change the Hard Tyres and only need about 92% refuel to get you Fuel 1 to end of race. You can ease back on amount of downforce to get more speed on the long straights because standard trim it has more grip in the corners than you need.

The NSX with hard tyres (no turbo no power restriction) can run 7 laps in fuel map 3 if I remember correctly without any tweaking and thus only one pit stop. There isn't any special insight, it's just faster than everything.
I use the gr.3 BRZ (two pit stop, end of laps 5 and 10, lap 1, 6, 11 at fuel map 5, the rest fuel map 4) and its an easy race. Im talking about normal difficulty and I am at best a mediocre player.

Yeah, you can roll up with most cars around that class or gr3/4 and stroll to victory without much stress at all.

This still works on 1.15? Thought pp tweaks prevented it, even for script?

Aww, boo hoo. Fancy making a thread because you're upset you can't cheat any more. 🤣

The NSX GT500 '16 is brilliant for this race! I have no option parts fitted to mine, all standard. 799.74pp, 512bhp, 1049kg. Downforce 730, 1070. Transmission normal, turbo normal.
Difficulty, easy. TC1, ABS default everything else off. This car can easily run 1.40s, even 1.39s and lap the entire grid, some twice. Have faith in it's downforce! I'm no expert driver, can't even top 10 on that Maggiore mission!

Awww fancy not understanding the original post and responding like a child - "difficulty easy", says it all pal.
