I'd venture to guess that it'll come with Tuesday's maintenance.
Except it literally does not say anything about a new update like it usually does.

How much noticibly better? Kinda ps5 prototype better or overclocked ps4 better?Keep in mind the hardware that runs GTS at these events isn’t a PS4 (Pro). It looks noticeably better than a retail version of the game.
I'll buy it anyway, it's the root of AMG.I'm very excited for the 300SEL race car. It was one of those cars that I'd never thought I'd see in a GT game. Now all that matters is price. I think it's probably going to be around the 3-5 million range, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was 10+
True But we only got on official GT3 car and a couple GR.4s in 2 years thats pretty poor imo.PD can’t please everyone.

But one would think that in an online racing focused game the "star" class (as they put it ) would've received some care? . And i dosen't matterGr3 and Gr4 content (about 70 cars in those 2 groups! ) was filled in the beggining for FIA championships, N cars was filled afterwards because that wasn't the first priority.
New Gr3 and Gr4 are one of the attractive point of GT7.
They can't deliver all GT7 content in GTS for free.
I can understand that. I don’t complain mostly even if the cars is not what i like to have, becouse i know that people have different tastes in cars.True But we only got on official GT3 car and a couple GR.4s in 2 years thats pretty poor imo.

GR.3 is especially outdated already Ferrari , Nissan Aston martin etc using thair 7-8 year old cars as well as noticeable absences like Bentley.
Everything is welcome 👍 .I feel with a hypothetical 2020 or 2021 Manufacturer's Series, they should indeed refresh some of the GT3/GT4 offerings. And it's just like you said, brands like Ferrari, Nissan and Aston could benefit from this, in addition to McLaren (a 720S GT3 and 570S GT4 should hopefully perform better than the 650S race cars...) and Ford. And some newcomers to the series would be neat too; Bentley, just like you said, and maybe other brands like Abarth, Maserati and Cadillac?

Can they make the pitstops longer again...
Currently, the time loss riding through the pitlane is so low that driving through the pitlane and not changing tires / not adding fuel, is quicker than driving the track normally at some tracks.
Only with some super slow N100 cars, which are not the main kind of car for endurance races ...
But, yes, they could fix that for N100 cars...
GT Sport's focus is clearly on Esports but im not going to argue if you can understand it 👍 if you don't i can't help you. And if its all about the money i would gladly pay a ressonable price for some of the newest race cars on time because if polyphony releases the next GT in 2022 for example and we have 2018 cars on that gamewe will still be one possibly two generations behind and although i don't mind why should we always be behind?.More care than 100/150 racing cars ???
Online racing focused ? Not only ! This is not iRacing nor AC Competizione. GT Sport has many many focus and that is a good thing.
New racing cars will arrive in GT7, they can't deliver it for free in GTS.
Bathurst, with Mazda Roadster TC, which is a very suitable car for races, including races with a tyre change.
It's quicker to enter the pitlane and then exit without doing anything in the pits than it is to drive the track normally.
Even with Gr.3 cars, you don't lose enough time pitting.
Currently, there is a set 'autodrive' animation time for ALL cars, no matter of the speed they could achieve in the pitlane and the speed they would normally achieve on the track. Similarly, the tyre change animation for all cars is way too short. For example, the GR Supra Cup World Tour event this weekend had an animation time of 2 seconds for changing 4 road tyres lmao

You can kick from a lobby someone who cheats like that in that rare exception.
"Even with Gr.3 cars, you don't lose enough time pitting." So you don't win anything entering the pitlane for nothing ...
'autodrive' animations and short pitlane times matches with increased tyre wear and increased fuel consumption.
So it's more or less well balanced.
Many people are more focus in off track details than in driving... I don't care about pitlane animations... Even iRacing has cross cars without collitions in pitlane, cars fixed in 0 seconds, and many others simplifications...
The important thing is driving, in my opinion,... if the important thing for you is pitlanes then go to iRacing...
PD Gran Turismo Sport vision doesn't match your Gran Turismo Sport vision, so, ... maybe... you are not right.
GTS doesn't pretend to be iRacing nor AC Competizione. Some of you are considering it should but no.
Don't waste your timing arguing he completely ignores our points the fact he got a like is scary.I don't understand the logic of 'you want more realistic pitlane time loss so go on iRacing instead'
The game used to have better pit time loss, which made alternative strategies in organised races and leagues more suitable. It is a simple fix to increase pit time loss and doesn't in anyway mean I should just abandon the game and go to iRacing instead??

That pitlane time was decreased because it wasn't enough balanced with tyre wear and fuel consumption multipliers.
If you don't like pitlane animations, pitline times, etc I can recommend you other games with other pitlane systems and times. For me pitlanes are only a minor detail.
I'm glad it is a minor detail for YOU. Not everything in a game needs to be for you only, and features and updates can adhere to the millions of other people who bought the game.
Today I learned that if I have any criticism about a game, I should just stop playing it...
That's why I recommend you another games if you can be happier if you don't undestand that tyre and fuel multipliers means pitlane times to be balanced.
In a league I help do event settings for, we used to have very good races with multiple strategies when the pit time loss was longer.
So actually, it did use to be balanced, and now it is worse.
Well, the game looks really sharp on that big ass display (or rather panels) they use at these events. You can see much more detail like in vegetation and reflections and on top of that, it runs at 60fps even when spectating (like watching a replay), with these ultra high graphics. I’d say it’s either a PS5 devkit or a really powerful PC.How much noticibly better? Kinda ps5 prototype better or overclocked ps4 better?
Imo it’s overhyped. Yeah it’s good, but it’s no better than Sarthe or Laguna Seca.Spa, with or without rain
Being new to GT with GTS, this will be the first time I've driven it.
It's had quite a build up, hope it lives up to it.
