Anyone catch it?

Effectively England's U19 team beat a full USA side, with debutant Keiron Richardson bagging both England goals.

Nice...

Living in the States, it's impossible to follow soccer. Team USA must be getting better. Last time I was interested in soccer, Team USA wouldn't have finished within one goal against England. Either that or England is slipping. :D

As Famine said

Shout at me for explaining the obvious here, but that means just about everyone in the team was under 19.
I'm so Americanized, I had no idea what U19 meant(you saw I called the game "soccer"). Thanks for explaining. :guilty:

its not surprising you lost, you cant even get the name of the sport right.

Oh man lets not start this crap now.

HURRR YOU CALL IT SOCCER AMERICAN FOOTBALL ISN'T FOOTBALL LOL

Oh and it wasn't actually the England U19 Squad, it was the main england squad filled with players that don't usually get a chance to play in the team. All the top players were held by their domestic clubs not wanting them to get injured or fatigued for their next club game.

Soccer comes from the term association football well it was derived from that term.

If I want to be realy cool I call it Calcio, so I say. 'Hey you pleb did you see the calcio game that Arsenal sucked in?'

People like to play it; it's just that soccer doesn't have a commercial fanbase like the NFL or NBA or etc.

That is the correct answer.

Americas national team isn't bad though and to be honest it does have potential, as long as the MLS keeps gaining popularity and you keep importing players to europe.

Oh and you have Brian McBride, that guy is basically Americas Teddy Sherringham.
