USB extension for Logitech G29

Couldn't find a definitive answer on Google so thought I'd ask in here.

I've been using a Logitech G29 on GT7 for about 18 months now and would always move it in front of my TV.

But I have recently got the PSVR2 so now I can play to the side of the room whilst others use the TV.

My issue is the cable that attaches the wheel to the PS5 isn't very long so it makes it a bit cramped.

I'm only after a 1m (2m max) extension but have read that people have had issues with both the 2.0 and 3.0 cables.

I use a no-name 3 for long USB extension cable (and a shaved RS232 cable for the shifter) and I've never had any problem with my G29 on PC. I don't see why doing so on a Playstation should make any difference

As long as it's a decent quality cable, I'd think you should be absolutely fine with a normal extension cable at the lengths you mentioned.

If you are in doubt though pay a little extra and get an active USB extension cable. They help boost and keep the signal integrity over longer distances. But as I say, over your 2 metres it's probably not needed.
