Used Car Lists - Cycles 1-20

[Famine]

Okay... yeti talked me into it.

The attached file unzips into an Excel file. There's 20 sheets therein, each of which deals with a single cycle of the Used Car lists. The exact days are noted in the top left corner of each sheet.

For each car there is a listing for drivetrain (except the Nissan CUBE, which doesn't, apparently, have one), power in horsepower, weight in kg and power-to-weight ratio in horsepower per tonne. The last column covers the colour available, however the fact that you have to BUY the car before the colour name is available, and the further fact that I've got to translate them too, makes this last column a little patchy.

There IS one error on rotation 17 - a car I didn't check at the time and haven't seen since cropped up. I will keep my eye out for it so that I may fill in the blanks, and double check on rotation 116 to see if it's there again.

PLEASE NOTE: This list is accurate for the NTSC/Japan version. I make no claims to the accuracy for the NTSC/US version, 'cos I don't have it.

I made a thread about this a couple days ago but I guess it got lost couple pages back since it gets posted the time you actually made the thread Anyway, I started to compile a list as well and it can be seen on my website (GT4 Info -> Used Car List). Just started to create it about 2 days ago so it's still in the beginning stages. I'm sure it's not as good as Famine's but it's available to anyone who wishes to use it.

if you buy a car its labelled as sold, and you cant buy it again. After the rotation is back to start, can you buy the car then again? or can you never buy it again?



And

Can you buy a New car just as amny times as you want, and after each other, or do you have to wait a rotation/ is it impossible to buy it twice?

This is great info. Thanks for taking the time to do it.

The other list I would like to see is the "wheel of the day" rotation. I´ve made a very simple one, including only the wheels I like the most. I indicated the code of the first wheel of each day (to clearly identify the rotation position), and then the original vehicle application. There are around 25 rotations in this cycle. If anyone is interested in this simple and limited (to my taste) list, I can post it here later.

Yep. If you roll the mouse over the highlighted cell, a message to that effect pops up - and you'll notice that the power rating is marginally higher.


As for requests for other formats... No.

I'll donate the list to DRT2RM (and Jordan, of course), who can HTML it at their leisure...

I downloaded it, but I have excel 5 and it says it's not a valid file format.

Backward incompatibility is why I hate microsoft!
