Maybe I'm playing this game wrong, but I really don't care what color the car is. If I don't like it, I'll change the color or give it a whole new livery. I couldn't care less what color the interior is. I never look at it as I'm always in the hood cam view. I don't care how many miles are on the cars either as it plays almost no role in the car's overall performance or its resale value. All I care about is how the car drives. Some cars are terrible to start but can be tuned to be incredible machines. Others suck to begin with and don't really get much better with tuning. At that point they just collect dust in my garage, so who cares what color it is?
Everyone plays the game differently... Some people spend most of their time in Sport mode doing daily races. Some people spend most of their time grinding the four grind races. Some people spend most of their time in the livery editor making styles that most people don't care about... There's no right or wrong way to play, as long as you're enjoying it.

Man, I want the silver car as well, but just buy the dang thing. It’s awesome. ;)

Actually… why not. Just bought it. 😁 I‘ll collect it in silver, white and black then. One stock, one engine swapped, and the third widebody engine swapped. 😅

edit - and will just sell the Inka orange one I already had once the selling price is a bit better 😎

Why not buy a 4th one that you can put a custom livery on?

I don't understand why there is no attempt to make a virtual car market between players. To avoid market manipulation, it could be set so that every car has to be sold through auction (so every player in the world has the chance to bid).

The game wants to simulate real car ownership, but the only way to obtain many cars is to wait for them to cycle into these silly dealerships which are the same for every player in the world.

Once you "sell" a car it is not really sold, it is just deleted. But really it should need to go onto the market and be picked up by another player.

Because of how long some cars take to cycle into the dealership, the cost to buy them could be increased over listed price (paying a premium to not have to wait for the cycle). So PD has plenty of opportunity to get microtransactions from kids using Mommy's credit card.

Great idea but PD wouldn't allow us to do something like that... all the financial statement would collapsed

You are absolutely right, it would be very fun too.

And if the car price could be as "realistically" fixed when you sell it, as it is priced when you buy it... they even went to the point where the value fluctuates each day ! But if you get half the price you paid for it, it is your lucky day. It should be (especially for legendary cars) related to the price you've paid, only affected by the slight daily fluctuations. Not half the price or worse, plus or minus daily fluctuations.

I was so happy to see the M-stripes be an actual thing for the '73 CSL, so I bought the black one that showed up, if only to finally complete the Extra Menu that requires it. It would also be nice to see a light blue metallic (or maybe silver) Nissan 240ZG, too, as well as a Reflex Purple Tuscan Speed 6.

Bought the M-Striped Black 3.0 CSL and waiting for the silver one

and waiting for Pontiac Firebird special edition to show up

and TVR Tuscan Speed 6 in chamelon

and a good color for the Superbird

I see we got literally 1x new car today.......and one in the auction house.......I almost feel like the game is stalled atm as everything is static waiting for a few specific cars to drop, at this rate the game will be out of date before I see them tho !

I think that C4 ZR-1 should look pretty slick in VR. That last time I was in a C4, was when my workmate wanted me to buy his gold auto(I think it was an '84 model), back in 1996, when I still had my Saab 9000T.

Okay so GT7 casual (kind of) here. Why are the same cars in the dealership constantly? I feel like from day one the Silvia has just been sitting there.

Ironically a couple of S14's are what I am waiting for , for the menu, and the 4 door Skyline 110.....there is lots of other treasures to be seen as well no doubt, this drip feeding is another poor design choice tho IMO.

Check this site to see how long cars are there for, when new ones show up, etc.

https://ddm999.github.io/gt7info/

Remember there are a lot of Silvias in the game...

Also, there's a limited list of cars which show up in the UCD. They vary in colour and mileage, but there's only very rarely new cars added to the UCD.

Thanks for that link. Helps me know how many days of grinding I need. Jaguar '66 is the next car on my list after the MP4.
Also need to grab the invite Bugatti while I can.

Jag XJ13 is a while away. It was in the LCD not so long ago. I'd expect it in April sometime.

I'm currently on the grind for:

Ferrari 330 P4 (bought last night)
Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto
McLaren MP4/4

And I have a Ferrari invite set to expire on the 23rd...

Ferrari Enzo
Ferrari LaFerrari
Ferrari FXX K

Much grinding is needed!

Enzo is one I didn't buy on the Invite. Just not a fan of it.
But I need the Bugatti for the Cafe collection.
Same as the MP4. But the MP4 does look like a fun car to drive.
If the Jaguar XJ '66 is a while a way, will give me time to get few Mil in the bank.
Would like to acquire the legendary Trophy.

The XJ13, as part of the Trophy Three, is on its own once-a-month schedule, and that schedule has it available now.

Oh wow, yeah you're right. I should have checked the link I shared in the first place!
I had no idea it's on its own rotation. Are the other two also on the same rotation cycle?

An auction house brings in hackers and credit sellers in Forza and they don’t even sell in game currency like GT has. There’s also the stupid Hagerty sponsorship for real world auction prices that the probably won’t want to go around.
