I was similarly confused by the Trans Am love...but I did take the opportunity to pick up one in each color. Can you tell I've gotten into collecting color variations lately?

I honestly wouldn't mind if they kept spamming the special picks like this. I can't recall ever seeing 3 of those 5 Firebird color schemes before? Seems it only ever shows up in Gold or Black.

Back when the game released if would frequently show up in brown. It hasn't shown up in brown since late 2023. Ever since it's been gold or black. The blue has shown up twice iirc and the red only once.

I wonder if the color picks are random, or if it's influenced by the popularity of a color? We all know, thanks to an old GT Sport interview, that PD has access to see what cars are most frequently bought. Maybe they have same for colors...?

Either way. seeing all the Firebirds and Superbirds made my week, especially the latter of the two. I've been wanting the Superbird in Lime for a very long time.

I think it’s great that the Honda NSX Type R ‘92 is not only now available in Championship White, but it’s also a lower-mileage offering. Speaking of Honda, I cannot say I’m a fan of the color that ‘87 Civic is currently available in, so I’ll likely just wait for the next color.

Agreed… The tail light bar, which is a major design trait of the car, kinda gets drowned out by the red paint. However, I added one of the custom wing options and some nice blackish wheels. Then lowered the ride height a bit with street suspension. The car just begs for some subtle customization, and it made me appreciate the red paint a little more.

Nice collection! I see you're a proper UCD color connoisseur whereas I only started collecting color duplicates recently. Now I wonder if those other colors have "Hood Bird" variations also.

I assume all the real cars had the hood bird option for all factory colors. I have no idea if PD will have them available in the game.
