I've finally got all of my photos from my trip to the United States Grand Prix online, commented, and organized. Please, take a look at them - I included a lot of shots of cool things and places around the track, and not just the F1 cars themselves. I hope you like them - just click on the links below the samples to view the photos! :)

Oh, and by the way, don't miss my tour of the F1 driver's parking lot! ;)

I never got the F40's owner's name, but I do know he was a driver/owner of one of the vintage F1 cars that ran a few laps during the weekend. I've got other 1:18 scale models that are still in the box, but the 1:10 scale model in the gallery is actually a remote-control car. And, well, I had to get it out for a few laps around the living room! :)

WOW thats a very nicely detailed RC!!

::: Drools over the pictures of the Ferrari F40::: and I thought I got some fairly decent shots....... jordan, these are some incredible shots. excellent work. :D

We took over 850 pics ourselves. Still going through them, but seem to have some nice ones. We also used a Olympus 2100 Ultra Zoom. Did you take any QT movies with that camera? We did and I was very impressed how they turned out.

You were in some prime spots too. You got a lot of good pics while there weren't many people around. Good job!

Didn't you just love the paint job on those Irish team's Ferraris?

Awesome!

The new 3200GT's are awesome, especially the blue/white cupcar! Oh, and Juan drives a crappy car. That's all, great job on the pictures. ;)

Looking forward to your pictures too MaximumPonies. :)

Thanks! I didn't get any video, unfortunately, for fear of filling up my compact flash card. :( All of the Ferrari's looked great, but then again, it would be difficult to make a 360 look bad! :D

I didn't feel like sorting them, so I put all of them up. I love my webhosting service. Gobs of bandwidth, gobs of disk space, not gobs of cash.

Put a couple of the Quicktime movies up there too.
More great shots from you this year! I'll add your link to my post above.

How did you get those wicked pics of Barichelllo's crash? The look like they were taken from the paddock.
I was right along the edge of the grandstands on the inside of the oval, immediately next to the podium where you can look straight down pit lane. :)

Man, that's so cool. I can hardly wait to go to one of these. And the gallery script you are using is really awesome!

So you're back home now?

You should definitely go! I've got my Aus tickets, and I'm beginning to get seriously excited!
