Well the Camaro RM in Class 1 would be tempting, but nothing beats an all American V8 so probably go the Challenger for Class 2 ...

no worries, you didnt get around to testing the Jaguar and Merc yet?

Been one hectic week mate ... I will test them tonight and post my full findings ...

your usually very consistant, so if you match them to your times at your favourite track in the dodge, then just alter the weight from there, i trust your judgement

One quick question ... Have you planned a date/time for this event yet ... keep in mind that I'm GMT+2 and you are 7.5 hours ahead of me ...

I run under 6mins at nurb consistently in my xj13 full tuned. With the 483hp limit, I can only get 6:20-6:23 consistently. Occasionally a 6:19 or high 6:18. Still alright I guess :/

Sweet! It's a very fun track to put a lot of cars on. Thin track, long sweeping turns, bumps, very small passing zones. Makes for a great r e with the right people. By the way, one suggestion, can we do an enduro at the ring at night? Makes it much more interesting and complicated...haha

For the Aussie race? I haven't watched F1 for a while so I'll have to do some homework ... the JAG and Merc are gonna get killed by the V8's ... they are Maxed out at the lowest weight they can be but they still 5 sec slower at Motegi ... I want to test at more tracks to see if they can come right ... I'll keep you posted ...

that sucks, perhaps we might have to change CLASS 3 to suit these cars and some others, maybe limit them to 460hp and include the 53 corvette, AC cobra etc,

no, not the aussie f1 race the european rounds like say Spain or Germany they are all roughly within half hour start time of each other,

They might be better suited to Class 3 and keep Class 2 for the higher power V8 ... The F1 normally starts around 14:00 my time so that sounds perfect ...

ideally i would want the race ended 45 minutes before the F1, just so i can get my pork ribs in the oven make some nachos and a beer run if needed lol

mate, i had to go to this award ceremony for my golf club tonight, cost us a spiggin fortune to eat, anyway, the jugs beer were FREE! man i hit them jugs like yesterdays beef, theres 12 people per table and i was lucky that i was the only one who drinks beer, i realized after the first jug it was light beer grrr, oh well it was free, i wouldve got around 8 jugs for nothing, lol

Well it looks like momentum for this series is dead, what a shame,

hmmmmm, i dont know where else I can take this series without changing it stupidly and losing sight of what i was trying to achieve,

I'm sure the more we advertise the thread the more visibility it will get ...

i may have a solution, how about a modern muscle category, using the Dodge Challenger 06' Ford Mustang GT 07' Chevrolet Camaro SS 10' Holden Commodore SS 04' Aston Martin DB9 06' Pontiac GTO 04' AMG C63 06'

Now that sounds much more enticing ... Modern V8's battling it out for Australia's Premier V8's title ...
