Schedule:

Duration: Approximately 2 Hours (not sure)

April 23 @ 12pm US PDT / 3pm US EDT / 8pm BST / 9pm CEST

Chevy Camaro IROC-Z Concept '88
Isuzu 4200R Concept '89
(both needed)


Tracks:

Tsukuba Circuit (qualify track)

Car Regulations:
Hard - Soft Comforts (Drivers choice)
Tuning: Prohibited

Race Regulations:
all aids off except ABS allowed
tire wear on
damage light
slipstream weak
penalty off
grip real

Race will be hosted in the VCRC Lounge, add PSN: VCRC
Note: The VCRC account is just the club lounge account. It will rarely be signed on.
Get the FR in a.s.a.p. to assure acceptance in advance of racing.
In order to check the league lounge, you must click on the coffee cup,
and wait for the room content list to present.
No yellow people icon will show, even when the room is full.

Race Procedure:

Racers may arrive in the lounge 30 minutes prior to event for practice & warm-up.


Qualifying:
20 minutes free run @ Tsukuba Circuit
All: Camaro IROC-Z '88


Results:
1st half grid = Division 1
2nd half grid = Division 2

5 minute break

You must recognize your number in the qualifying grid order.
Once this is recognized at end of duration, all exit track to lounge, and re-enter track in proper car, but do not hit drive (so as to keep qualifying position).

Race #1
8 laps @ Daytona Road Circuit
(Grid Start - Fastest First)
Division 1: 4200R Concept '89
Division 2: Camaro IROC-Z '88

5 minute break

Race #2
12 laps @ Fuji International Speedway
(Grid Start - Reverse Grid Order)
Division 1: Camaro IROC-Z '88
Division 2: 4200R Concept '89

Race Results will be based upon divisions.👍

I think the track selections are clever for these cars.
Not my personal favourites (simply because I don't have the opportunity to race them much!)... but I'm looking forward to getting some racing in on more tracks I'm not so familiar with. 👍 :)
 
Sounds like fun to me. I'll be there. Colors to be determined shortly.

Fair warning - I may either show up late to the qualifying or I'll have to miss the second race. Not sure which at this time.

Where can I get an IROC-Z concept?

well of course... it says there 8pm so it's gonna be 8pm and the Iroc-z you only can get thru the UCD.... idk if someone here has a spare.
 
I want in but don't have the Camaro :( Someone with spare one?
I have spare Alfa Spider Duetto and Renault 5 Turbo if someone need them let me know
 
I can go down as a maybe...meaning I'll probably be working but there's a chance I can make it. Won't know until the last minute though. If it starts to fill up then just push me aside to a reserve list, I don't want to hold a spot in place of someone who's sure they can make it.

Oh yeah, I don't have the IROC either...lol. I'll check my Yuri acct tomorrow to see if I have one unmodified...but probably not.:grumpy: If someone wants to trade anything goes for me..

Oh and I like all the tracks. Lots of room on Fuji and Daytona of course and makes for good racing. Tsukuba is very technical and a good change of pace. Why can't we have that kart track in the game!!

I wonder if Hugo may have created a 4-way tie without the disconnect.

I wish more of the listed attendees had been able to make it today, but I had a great time.

To look on the positive side, SSX - a small number of people on the track means less work doing race review and stewarding stuff at the end.
