Hey great races peoples! Will post results & maybe some photomodes a bit later. (Been occupied.)
Sorry about the connection issues, AGAIN. I don't know what is going on this week, but this is getting annoying. For the first time now *I* have had problems. Well, I should say other people have had problems with me being on the top of the lounge list. Nothing has changed in my set-up or connection. And it says what it always said... I don't know what the problem is. Did seem to be slightly better once we reset the lounge and it was mics disabled... But is that really helpful? I don't know, but I guess for now, for events I'll leave mics disabled just to be on the safe side.
I think at least 2 people couldn't make it in at all in the end. ??? I don't know.
Just for reference, the lounge race quality is set to "standard" - as was recommended by various sources.
I didn't have any other internet usage at the time. I'm hardwired directly to the modem, no bridged router. The connection speed has been the same forever.
And I think there were 15 people in the Mini Madness race Saturday (which you would think would be a high network traffic time)... And mics were enabled, and I had no problems there, nobody did. I wish I knew the secret!!

Fun racing guys! I think I came home with the overall win. Experienced a weird glitch in the second race though. Came in first in the second race I believe but it gave the win to someone else. It's odd because I've never experienced that before. Anyways I won't be able to make that rally tomorrow. I'm very interested in the vintage mixer event so I'll probably going to be signing up for that.

I saw that once before, and this was brought up somewhere on this forum... A post by jamesbograt... I think. In the case where it happened to me, Johnwells & I were racing, just 2 cars, clearly beat me went over the finish line completely before me, and it showed me as #1 and my win message was broadcast in the txt chat.

There was definitely something hinky going on with the PSN server this week. I never had these problems before, and so many people having incompatibility issues in the lounge. I'm still not sure what happened with 2 people I think left... and I didn't get a message. So I'm not sure if they had connection issues - or just had to leave.

And then also, I have only 10 people finishing Race #1, but there's clearly 11 cars on the track.

Now I'm worried there were more errors in the race results I have.

So I apologize if there's been some mistake.

I asked the guy who hosts the Mini Madness races in his lounge to tell me his lounge settings, and he said he'd look & let me know.

I'm assuming everyone could see me on track... Was anybody seeing any lag? I didn't see any lag in the races. And things in the replays looked pretty smooth. So I don't know.

So the Subaru was RR like Porsches, like akmuq said... Well not a surprise, considering it wanted to spin as badly as the Yellow Bird does.

I'm not sure if it's the case of the Subaru 360, but keep in mind that many of these cars in GT5 have wrong final gear ratios. PD forgot to model the secondary final drive which many of these motorcycle-derived cars had, resulting in extremely low performance in-game.

Definitely unfortunately true of the Honda Z Act.
