VCRC vintage & low power :: Sunday 3pm GMT / 10am US EST

Yeah so after our test races, at @CC570's suggestion... at the Nurburgring... I have to say I was impressed at how fun it was.
I'm thinking I can do around an hour of that. 6 laps?

Certainly it should turn out to be the most orderly trip through Flugplatz ever seen.
The car hits the limiter a couple of times on the track - but usually only briefly, and it should actually make for closer racing as the draft won't be as much benefit with the limiter on the fast parts.

Also the most noticeable time it hit the limiter for me was after the peak of the hill heading down into the Aremburg right hand turn... which for some people :odd: (@daddyo845) ;) might be a boon & cut down on the probability of a beached cars there.

I'm thinking maybe enforce 1 pit stop?

Discuss.
Damage heavy? I could see enforcing one pit stop. Also a day->night->day transition could be neat.

Whoah whoah ... I was thinking starting just before dawn, & having it end not long after sunset.
ie: night > day > night
I didn't think the headlights were good enough for overnight. (Or maybe it's my eyes that are not good enough. lol 'specially with damage :scared:)

I was thinking some chance of rain might be cool. 💡

No it's just because I'm awful in really wet conditions. Either I push the car too hard on the slippery road and I run myself off the road or I'm too cautious and I go way too slow :scared:

Unfortunately I've been called away Saturday to catch up with some old Uni buddies, the commutes about 3 hours and I'll be hungover so i doubt I'll be home by 3pm Sunday which means I'm likely going to have to miss this week sorry! If you can put me down as a 'possible' or something that would work but obviously don't make a specific slot for me. I should be around for the next one though 👍.

Very nice. I enjoyed looking at those pictures just as much as I enjoyed racing those cars. Sorry if that sounded like an insult but really do love those pics and it was a lot of fun on Sunday :D

I'm sorry watermelon has told me about that. You trying to best me kling like you do in gt6 all of the time . I'll be there for Sunday though. I'm looking forward to it. I'm hoping me and kling can have another epic battle. Probably wont happen though. I don't think I'll be able to keep up for an hour.

I don't mean to rush you @watermelonpunch, but if you could get those details on the biposto race soon I'd really appreciate it. Didnt you say you were going to force at least one pit stop?

@dmihaylov Welcome back!! :) I have wondered about you. Are you still on my PSN list?

@daddyo845 No worries... I do it almost as much for the photomodes as for the racing. :sly:

@BrandonW77 That happens to me too - WITH MY OWN THREADS. :boggled: I won't see an alert, but then when I check my "watched thread" page, I see that someone's posted to the thread. Best as I could figure so far is that if you don't actually post to the thread for a couple of days, it takes it out of being worthy of "Alert" status - unless you're "following" the person who actually posts.

Anyway, you darn kids today & your smart phones!  :sly:

You should really only double-post if you're posting something particular on a separate issue.
For example, I'll double post if I post if I'm posting photomodes or results or event information or whatnot.
Otherwise, you shouldn't do it... Especially not in the discussion forums. (Like in other sections of the forum.)

I'm "following" you now, but not in a creepy way so please don't feel like a restraining order is necessary. :dopey:

@watermelonpunch Hello missed your league since I stopped playing because of corruped safe data. I think I still got you on my PSN list, cuz I did not delete anyone. Still I will try to get the 3.5mil. for the car for the Sunday race :D. Still down 1.1mln :D But I will take part in the race. :)
