I would definitely be interested if you raced at a different time....but it sounds like an excellent club. At the risk of sounding like a bit of a jerk since this is my first post here, if you are having trouble getting enough people to race, why not switch up the rules? Nothing drastic, but maybe allow some minor tuning just to even up the pp. You could still keep it low, and maybe just allow one type of tuning, such as exhaust. Forgive me if this has been suggested in this thread before - I was far too lazy to read all 52 pages . It would really open up a lot of options for race types.
Look forward to hearing from you, or being told to get lost. I have almost all older cars in my garage, and I'm anxious to use them. I also posted my own thread where I was looking for a club, so you may notice it on the forum, but Jason Bica guided me here.
Well, this thread was created by someone else but I kinda took over in her absence so I wasn't really able to change the rules much. The time was a little early for my liking. What times would be better?
I don't really believe there's such a thing as minor tuning, because it can't be policed you have to allow all or nothing. It would require the honor system which I don't have a lot of faith in. Plus, the point of this group was to enjoy these old cars with all their quirks and character and that's best done by keeping them stock. I do like the idea of running two or three cars together but it's hard to find cars evenly matched in stock form. Not impossible, just difficult. A revival of the group is still on the agenda, it's just been out in the back burner as I sort some other things, both in game and in life.
