Yeap everything is back.

Now the good/odd thing
The good thing (and that is really interesting)...i'll do an intro to say exactly how it happened.
I deleted the Game data via XMB, i disabled the Internet via XMB, i've started the game just to have a look to see how things looks and if everything is in place....Quited the game enabled Internet on the PS3, (i havent signed in to PSN) updated GT5 and when i got to the Home Screen, i got 2 tickets :eek: .
I am not joking, it gave me the CLK-LM Race Car for completing something in the AMG event...but i have golden the AMG before 6 months or so??? :odd:
and the other ticket is.....sorry i cant recall the ticket now i am in the middle of glitching the 24h nurburgring Endurance and i cant check.
Anyway...
When i saw the pop-ups saying "you got the ticket blah blah blah" ...i though, ok the game gone nuts, it wont actually give me the tickets....well it did!
I had 6 tickets and now i have 8, i checked, rechecked, quited/reboot the game, sign in/out to psn, and the tickets are still there...
Something is terribly wrong with this games, i wonder if i delete the game data again, will it give same 2 tickets again ????

That same thing happened to me when I did that to gold the last nascar event, I don't know if I got a ticket but it did tell me I unlocked some track. The bad part is a few of the cars I bought with 1.0 go to the main screen when I try to go to them.
 
In nurburgring you need to find another check point close to the start/finish line to clock up the laps . In nurburgring 24hr track there is a check point close to the start/finish line which enables the laps to register . But in the vettel challenge although it's nurburgring and its a smaller section the check points change . I think there is one towards the first chicane after the pits , however I've been in under track and tried to clock up laps in a kinda figure of 8 and it 100% doesn't work like the 24hr does , also the exit point out of track I use is the one at the end of the stadium on the left after the 3rd bend , it's a lot quicker to get through ;) ( this is the old exit point in the last nurburgring glitch where you had to be hit through ) ;)

Edit: I don't think monza is achievable due to no elevation , it's easy to get out but I can't see how it will work , please post if you know something ;)

I would have thought if the Nurburgring glitch was confirmed to gold the Vettel challenge (See dictionary description of challenge) it would be on youtube.
 
Used the Suzuka glitch for the vettel challenge. Currently using it to do the endurance race, 9 minutes in and I'm on lap 22, only problem is the cars is hard on front tyres with this glitch.
 
when you need to do a pitstop (e.g. for fuel). Just come out of the glitch, go in the pits and crawl back in.

Bad news though, nothing works in Version 1.00 :(

Here is what i have tried out
All the SV Challenge tracks through the event and in practice mode using X1,GTR 09, 07, Audi R8, FGT.
The 24h N'ring and De la sarthe in practice mode and in A-spec 24 endurance using the same cars as above.

The car doesnt even looks like it can get out of the track, the wall's looks to solid in version 1.00 for some odd reason.

@599 you are right, there is something in the latest patches that makes it too easy to get of the track.

I dont know mate, GT5 is a totally looney game, btw... the other ticket that gave me (for 2nd time) is Mercedes-Benz 190 E 2.5 - 16 Evolution II '91....i am seriously thinking to delete the game data again, just to see if it will give me tickets again.

edit: forgot something about the 24hr endurance in N'ring with patch 1.10....
I had rain in the entire race and the opponent cars finished with 138 laps.
Each lap with the glitch takes about 14-15-16 secs, with 1 tank in X1 you do about 100 laps, all you need to do is burn 2 tanks, that will take less than an hour of game play and you are over 200laps :)

Think I'll try for now to glitch my last 3 endurance races. Hope it works. :)👍

I tried this the other night and could only get my figure 8 counted as a lap one out of maybe two or three times, I need to find out where that checkpoint is.
 
Does anybody knw how to coplete x1 vettel challange in Nurburgring and monza i'm undergroud but it will automatically reset my car to the track ;)
 
Monza is impossible since you can't get under the track.
Nurburgring is impossible so far (untill someone works out the path and checkpoint).
 
Whole Vettel challenge is totally doable now, since the really hard track is easy now.
Golded Monza after 30 minutes and I need 2 seconds on Nurburgring, I use sixaxis.
It's doable even on a pad, whoever says it's impossible either lacks skill or has never tried golding it.

He is talking about the chicanes with the green material that isn't grass. The major time-shaver is the chicane right after the long sweeper at the beginning of the lap, and the first corner doesn't disqualify you for using the green material. 👍

Yeah cause it isnt an 8, is an L and way shorter and faster, every video in youtube that i have seen so far are doing longer circles with no reason at all.

I ve done 5 laps in practice mode in this replay, just download it and import it to GT5 to see how it goes. its pretty easy and fast this way.

You can get underground in nurburgring and monza? Cool. Do you have a video of how it is done?
 
Since i've bronzed vettel challenge (no cheating) long time ago i forgot about it.
When i looked at nurburgring glitch i've tried it.
Last week i tried get out of track and i did. But i've only once managed to get lap counted. I've spend about 30 min. trying and left after.

Maybe will try again tonight.

Remember the route? One lap is a start. What version was you on mate? If you know the route that could be the answer everyone wants to hear.
 
So has anyone been able to glitch gold on monza or nurburgring yet using the videos on the first page . If so please put up the videos showing the race pattern already
 
The pattern for Monza is - do two laps under 2:04.
The pattern for Nurburgring is - do two laps under 2:08.

You have an easy Suzuka (the hardest one), what more do you want? It's not impossible, just practice.
And even if Nurburgring glitch works, you'll still have to gold Monza legit, since you can't go under the track there.
 
It seems that Monza can't be glitched since the track is nearly completely flat, however you can cut all the green tarmac. The second chicane is the big one, you can take it in 4th, nearly 5th, gear and get right behind Vettel's ghost on lap 1.

On Nur, floor it through the second corner (long left hander) You won't be penalized for going over the track boundary, and I found that braking for the next corner is easier when you take the long corner wide. At the second to last chicane, you can ram through the white barriers, creating a small shortcut for lap 2, but this is risky because of the grass and the curb that wants to send the car off into space. Checkpoint times should be


1 - 19.xxx-20.xxx seconds
2 - 33.xxx-34.xxx
3 - 48.xxx-49.xxx
Lap 1 - 1:04.5xx
Lap 2 - 1.03.4xx
