I demand an explanation for this abomination.

I noticed that too. I was so like wtf. It kinda looks like a Cadillac badge... :odd:

So...

2 Texas
1 Georgia (since end of August)
1 Nevada (for sale presently)
1 Oregon (ExoticSpotter)
1 recently delivered
1 Michigan

That covers it! The two Texas cars are in Texas, I saw the Georgia car today, the Nevada car is presently for sale and thus cannot be the Georgia car, the Oregon car is posted on ExoticSpotter a few times, the 'recently delivered' car has been photographed on F-chat, and the Michigan car is well-documented. The only issue is that the Michigan car could be separate, or either the Georgia car or the recently delivered car.

Meh. I saw an MC12.

EDIT: Hell, I've been checking. A dealer in California had one, and one's running around on New York dealer plates. No question there's seven in the States, but some of these are duplicates.

The Michigan one has to be somewhere else. The 1 Brad posted was for sale by Cauley Ferrari/Maserati, and I'm positive it's gone by now.

I believe I saw that one. It was in the Silicon Valley Ferrari dealer or something. I think.

Very amazing spot. I would still say the Veyron was better. Partly because the Veyron is a cooler car IMO and partly because you got to talk to the owner, and the owner wasn't a total jerk.

That's some serious WTF right there !.... Yikes..

Nice going on the MC12 Doug 👍

Though, I must say, it's even uglier out in the open...

Amen. It's not even a road car, it's a shape fettled for racing, and still not a pretty one at that. Witness the poor application of the bog stock Hella rear lights, the hideous front vent detailing, disproportionate nose, questionable rear wing and slab-sided rear flanks... the Ferrari was executed with more passion, if less aerodynamic efficiency. And oh, those wheels... *shudder*

The wheels are the worst part. They turn a true racing car into a happy little road car. Nowhere near aggressive enough. The rest of the car looks cohesive and quite nicely executed. This coming from someone who made a thread about how big it is a few months ago - seeing one has won me over.

All things that apply doubly so to the Enzo. And with the length that the car has, it seriously needs something on the back, with that wing being the perfect size (though the way it comes off the body is rather odd).

On the road?

I've seen all of them, but none on the road. It's not really an achievement if they're at a show.

Agreed. I've seen each of them, aside from the F1, at shows as well. The road is where it counts.

I'd also agree, but it isn't as though everyone has seen them either. There are still only 50 MC12s, fewer than 100 Veyrons, etc... Seeing them is seeing them, which is awesome in itself, but of course, its always different when you actually see them on the road.

Man, that MC12 is a beauty.. The most expensive car I've seen in my whole life is a Murcielago, wasn't so impressed becuase it was in an Auto Show. But, the most expensive car I've seen driving around is a Ferrari 360 Spider/Modena! :dopey:
When I used to live in Puerto Rico.

I was lucky enough to spot an F1 once, while leaving Telluride. Went by to quickly to photograph, unfortunately :indiff:

That would be Ralph Lauren's vehicle, of course. His ranch is less than 30 minutes from the city - it's where I saw the Veyron.

Wow, I'm honestly surprised you haven't managed to catch an Enzo yet. I saw one a few weeks after they hit the US, hauling arse over Mulholland Drive, here in LA. That one was red, I've seen a yellow one in Beverly Hills since. (And another red one, along with an F40, at a closed-street show in BH.)

Haven't seen an MC12 or Veyron on the road yet, though, just at shows.

amazing! The Ralph Lauren story was great. It's a shame that a car so rare(MC12) is so dang ugly! Too bad the Mercedes wasn't donkin'!

hahahahahah
guys thats my boss ur taking pics of
i see this car every day

nice pics

i'll show him the link tomorrow

There was(is?) a MC12 at Lake Forest Sports Cars (Maserati, Aston Martin, and Ferrari). That was during Easter break, i havent gone over there recently but im sure i know the guy who wouldve bought it.

Hes got a black F40, F50, Enzo, and Carrera GT that i have seen, not sure the extent of his collection, but it seems like an MC12 would fit although its not black.

Ive seen just about every ferrari made in the last 20 years, and most supercars, except yet to see a Veyron on the road, and still havent seen a McLaren F1 in any capacity, show or road which is a bummer because i could don't car at all for the Veyron but the F1 is the holy grail for me.

I've heard the MC12 at LFSC is a Corsa (the race version), not the regular model.

No surprise on either, since two of the seven US MC12s - which is 28% of them - went to Texas. We know the owner also has a 575M Superamerica.
