It's wasn't just the fastest, but easy to drive, comfortable and seemingly well built. It broke the rules for hyper-cars. No other car can match this yet. Some will be faster, but can they be all 3 of the above? Could you relax in a Koenigsegg? Be fairly confident it won't brake down after a long drive? Actually be able to drive it fast and keep the same pants on for the rest of the day?
These things always attract criticism because of the hype and the fact that they are, for a certain period of time at least, the best at what they do.
It may not be the prettiest at the moment, but that is only by today's standards. Who knows if there will ever be another car like it. I look at it as a wonderful achievement of engineering.
Back on topic, it appears that it is a 'standard' Veyron with orange detailing.
