VGT car problem

Like many I use an assortment of cars to grind Le Mans for credits but lately I've noticed that some of the VGT cars seem to become artificially top speed limited midway through the first or second lap (top speed drops to 160mph or so when they were driving normally earlier in the race). Apologies if this issue has already been addressed somewhere but I can't seem to find any info on it. Is this a common issue and can it be fixed?

Are you using one of the VGTs that's a hybrid, and did that hybrid run out significantly reducing the car's performance?

Thank you for pointing that out, You're correct the performance drop occurs when battery power is exhausted. From my research there's not much to do about it other than subtle changes in driving style.

You can use the Lambo VGT which has a battery with no issues. I can't speak on some of the other ones off the top of my head. I think you have to find out which ones work well with the race
