Practice Saturday went good, thanks to those who showed up. I had the room open a little earlier than I anticipated but we were able to get a lot of tuning and practice in. The cars are looking good at the 620pp level. Most cars are hitting somewhere in the 220's (mph) solo. Key is to take it easy coming onto the straightaway and follow the leader (obviously) and create a huge drafting line. Don't forget to turn up the transmission so you don't red line.

P.S. - marlux, sorry you didn't get to race. By the time you joined, I was ready for one more but I believe you had network interference and got us all disconnected. But please still look for me online during the week. And don't be hesitant to join me guys for some more practice.
 
That was fun Sat. Yet another track I need lots of practice with other racers.
 
Oldtimer with 1140 cars wants to join clean drivers room. Not the best but I know when you see the red dash line it means your going the wrong way on the track. PSN "livetiludye" Thanks.

I'll add you from my Non-GTP acc seeing as it is not suited due to the cars being used.
And I'll try to make it on Sunday, and I'll be using my Ferrari P4/330.

No it was in three hours. Sorry I didn't get back to the thread, my bad. But racing went well last night. Sorry for those who had network issues n those who missed out.
 
There was a good turn out last night with 10 drivers. The field of cars was pretty much split between Ferrari P4's & Jaguar XJ13's other than one Mark IV, one 2D & one 2J. I won with the 2J. I was running 3:24 sec laps consistantly. DoWhat ran a perfect lap in his Ferrari and hit 3:24 also. So the 2J wasn't unfair. I just came prepared for my own race, of course 👍

And the 2J was only hitting 220mph by itself, it was all in the transmission tuning. DoWhat had his Ferrari nailing 230mph by himself.

But racing went good. Did 5 laps at la Sarthe , I won. Then we did a 3 lap race and I took a Ferrari and took myself out a number of times. Congratulations to DoWhat for winning that one. Later on Kalmiya and Camikazee joined up and took out there Mark IV's and we switched it up the track to Monza No Chicane. And things got pretty heated there. I didn't save those results.


Well, Congratulations to DoWhat (P4) & myslef (2J) for winning in the Prototype Category. I'll send you something, just let me know what you want.

And, congratulations to Racecar73 (XJ13) & cahilldomination (XJ13) for winning in the SportsCar Category. I need to send you something as well.

So to comment back on that one.....only 7 of the 17 enlisted made it and 3 other guys from my friends list joined us. LOL

Are you sure about that? With min. downforce I was only getting about 350-355 kph in the P4 which is only 220 mph... not that it matters but that is a pretty big difference.
 
He was for sure, he did a lot of tuning & testing with me. He had the number on the top right of his custom transmission at about 262mph to 282mph.

We will let him answer that.

Yeah i believe it's at 282 or 285 top top speed but runs 229 and a 230 will pop up before the bend on the straight away solo. It's in the 590's for horsepower.

Sounded fun... I got something lined up possibly for the EU timezone ;).

How long was you race?
 
The initial race was 15 minutes, spent a day the week before tuning and practicing in lobby with these guys. After the event, we re-run it with most of us using different car choices or re-tuning and had more people join the lobby right after the race started. After that 2nd race we had a good following so we switched track to monza no chicane and did another two races there as well. The whole night lasted a couple hours, but the "main event" was less than 20minutes long and the first 2 laps were exciting.
