Someone in the comments typed, the Ice Break sponsor will go great with the Volvo. 👍

That'd be cool. Pither would easily be a massive upgrade over Wall. Think the S60 would look pretty good in Ice Break colours. 👍

26 entries locked in for 2016. Now, if only Richard Branson would jump in for the last two RECs, with Virgin Australia sponsorship. :sly:

Russell Ingall to PRA subbing for Chaz.

Here's the link to the article but I get a 404 Error when I click on it.

Yeah, the FB page has it but link not working. I wonder who is in the HRT with Jack. Courtney can't possibly be racing because of the curbs and walls at Surfers.

Ingall posted on the 15th that an online fishwrapper reports him racing the GC. We'll see.

Trying to think of a situation before where someone has driven for a factory Holden and Ford* team in the same year? Don't believe it's ever been done before.

*Well technically PRA isn't a factory team any more but you get what I'm saying.

Larry Perkins 1985 both HDT and DJR

I was admiring the JPS BMW 365 at the Adelaide Motorsport Festival today, the car itself was so beautiful that I almost didn't notice Jim Richards sitting in the drivers seat.

It was great to see the event so much bigger for only its second year and I feel lucky to have seen some of those classic Australian touring cars on track, not to mention the F1 cars.

So with this Pepsi Perfect thing that PRA is doing as a build-up to a future announcement (21st October), I wouldn't be surprised if it's a Back To The Future livery due to the heavy cues to the franchise or a heavily revised Pepsi livery.

Also, a bit of a wild guess here, with the strong cues to the Back To The Future franchise, I wouldn't be surprised if the announcement is to announce that PRA is going back to the past and running a Mustang come 2017.

Bringing back "Pepsi Free" branding.

I love these surprises.

I wonder if Garry Rogers is going to pull a Premat and bench Wall for Pither, at the last 3 rounds.

Wouldn't surprise me if that's why Lexud didn't opt to do V8SC. Maybe Toyota (their parent company) wants to take a crack at it?

Doubtful, 15 years ago Toyota were all but begging, then they got their Nascar offer, Toyota are serious about their marketing schemes, as long as the Corolla, Camry and Land Cruisers are selling here without motorsport investment there is no need for them to be involved, so I doubt they will be, same goes for Hyundai,

HRT should hold off on his return. Concrete walll and jarring bumps.

I was thinking that too. But he wouldn't have got the clearance to race if he wasn't 100%. Fingers crossed he does keep the car away from the walls.

He did get injured off track. Lowndes raced with broken ribs and even Webber raced with a broken leg.. So, true, anything can and will happen. I hope he does keep it off the wall as well.

Walkinshaw sell their REC to SBR.

No more 60km races. 125km races and one mandatory pit stop.

19 extra sets of softs.

KL City gets 4x 100km races.

Sydney get 2x 250km races.
