If they must keep that chicane, make it right left instead of left right like it is now.

Would have to have a small left kink before chicane

Good job HRT for making that work.

On my end, 3 cars playing caboose to 3 cars in the top 10, including a podium. Not too shabby.

Great finish there. Happy to see Perkins pick up his first victory and for Courtney to grab one on his return. @Spacegoat has finally got another result to be happy about. :P

I love the surfboards, just an awesome prize! They put those chintzy trophies they gave out at Bathurst to shame.

I know Bathurst is the jewel in the crown but, you really can't beat the surfboard AND a trophy.

The trophy is not for Gold Coast though, but it just happens to be where the Enduro cup winner is declared. Quite an un-eventful weekend by GC standards, no huge crashes at all and only a few safety cars 2 of which were for debris only.

So after all 3 enduros the points gap between 1st and 2nd changed by just 3 points  looking forward to seeing if PRA choke or hold it together for their first title.

The event organisers need to get serious with the trophy. The PB trophy should have Brock and the VK(or at least a generic car) on top of it like how the Daytona 500 has the car on it.

No way, the PB trophy needs a giant polarising crystal on the top.

He hasn't started Rehab.
I know. But that's what Mostert said. Whether he got his words wrong, he, for whatever reason, believes Courtney is absolutely obliged to help Mostert through his injury and the ensuing rehab.

Great weekend for Holden! 2 race wins, Pirtek enduro win and closed the gap to Frosty although he has such a huge lead I dont think that will matter much. We will see, PRA havent been there strongest recently.

It was great to see the variety with the cars but those Mercs really need something extra. They seem to be the only ones losing ground in relation to everyone else with development.

Im not sure what you heard, I saw the exact interview.

From what I saw what he said was he wasn't able to talk to Courtney about it all yet.

Well, I'm not sure what you heard either as I saw the exact interview as you, and he sounded pretty 🤬 that Courtney hasn't offered him help yet. Almost as if Courtney is obliged to do so.

Saturday was good until Will got the drive thru. Today's conditions were warmer. The #4 had its problems. Add to the fact they felt their economy was bad. Don't know who will steer the #9 next year. They are going to need a top driver to develop the car. Steven Johnson might be their only hope.

I'm not doing nothing next year, so I'm available to drive the #9, just saying, :P

This is the one where he is in the Pit Garage?

There's not really much that can be done. Prior to the light rail going in, it might have been possible to stick to the right and turn left at the junction.

I do wonder if it would be possible to simply cut the chicane entirely. It was only really there to slow the IndyCars down. There might still be enough space for some run-off.

Volvo is going to be strong. Now that reliabulty has been sorted, the S60 has the whole package. With both cars in the top 10 consistently, everyone will have to up their game.

PENSKE will no doubt be in the top 10 next year. Starting positions are quite limited. 3 RBRA, 3 PRA, 2 DJRTP, 2 HRT, 2 GRM. Then, 2 Walkinshaw, 3 NISMO, 3 LDM. Next year will be the 4th year of these cars. The key will be to finish each race.
