Hello Gents, I'm afraid I might have to give the racing a miss tonight. I had to finish early last night because I've lost the tyre sound. Can believe how difficult it makes driving when you can't hear the tyre feedback, and I don't have a clue what is wrong with my system. I've tried changing the microphone position in the pause menu, with no joy, and increasing the racing effects sound just makes the engine louder.

If anyone has any suggestions I would be grateful. I'm using a cheapish set of headphones, by the way, PX21, or something.

Many people have complained with similar problems. You can try rejoining a room, clear the cache, reboot but none of these manipulations really work. The issues come randomly and repeatedly. PD really needs to find a solution to this

Thanks Aaroh. I did mess about with going in and out of the game and doing the cache thing last night, but nothing helped.

I'll pop in tonight and see if it's any better for me. That Beetle is definitely going to be difficult with no tyre sound, that's for sure.

I need to decide on a colour scheme. I want it to fit in with the era, but it has to be green! Anyone got any ideas, similar to this, but slightly more green?

Sorry guys but I give up for today. I never had so much problems with my connection, I really don't know what's the matter...?... :confused:
I was lucky cause I could practice 2 hours just before the Beetle event and then... a real collapse!!! :mad: :grumpy:

Sellers was one of the greats no question about it.

My favorite scenes are when he is disguised as Emile Flournoy from the Nice telephone company. :lol:
And when he is trying to enter the castle but the drawbridge keeps closing on him. He tries canoeing,
pole vaulting, rock climbing.. it's incredibly funny.


Good job @Aaroh007 on the first proper event of the Club. 👍

And @gkgamer's weather system might even be more valuable than the secret Coca Cola recipe.
I've already forgotten the numbers though.
