Thing is, Roush doesn't get sponsorship money, he puts the Ford Ecoboost stuff on when no one will sponsor that car for a race

Oh, so they just don't have any sponsorship money at all. Oops! Roush done goof'd to get to such a low point in its life...

But as I said, no problems for me, except for the fact that earlier today I realized a dumb mistake that I had made; I asked for a Honda logo yesterday when in fact I had to use a Nissan logo due to the fact that, well, we're using Nissan engines (apparently). Fortunately, all your talks about Nismo managed to clear my stupid move. :dunce:

I just have made the download of the template of this series and I'm working on that.

By the way, here's the progress:

As preparations continue for the brand new VRR Hershey's Indy Lights championship under the helm of IRG chairwoman Kuni Kino****a, some drivers are moving fast and furious with their liveries and sponsorship deals. We have just received a mysterious picture from a contact who claims ties to the infamous Team Kate Upton, regarding what could be the so far unsponsored #76 car of Portuguese driver Nico Costa and North-American Denny Cylon.

Not much can be deduced of this mysterious picture, but from what can be seen, no sponsor on this car matches those announced by the other cars of TKU, including American gasoline company Sunoco as well as American photography specialist Kodak, which adorn the #99 and the #24 respectively. Other than a glimpse of a possibly orange-painted IR-05 chassis and a slightly blurry pink lettering on the side of the car, the mystery about the sponsorship for the #76 remains strong. Our contact has told us here at OTBS that "more information about this might not be far behind", and that "soon everyone will know what that strange sentence in the picture means".

And so, we leave with this infamous picture, and if more information comes across, we at OTBS promise to keep you updated;

And Harsk, I believe that it is set up that way because Indy Lights is a feeder series to the Indycar Series. If you're in the higher series, it would be unfair to the lower series drivers if you ran a full season of each. That, and Kuni is trying to make it as realistic as possible
Pardon me for posting because I haven't read this whole thread, but you have a feeder series for virtual car racing?

Go you for taking the pursuit of realism up a level

It's not me, it's @KuniKino****a and @BRRT_Angel who are working together on this series. Props to them for devoting their time for random internet strangers. 👍

The VRR Straight Talk IndyCar Series, as many are informed, changed and revamped its calendar. I don't think I'm going to go through that here, so the calendar is final.

Very well, although there aren't any dates set in stone, not yet at least. But thanks for informing us about that, guess you want to stick to what you decided for this series.

I'm not going to make things more complicated, and the deadlines won't be hard for this. They'll be up when Angel wants them up really. She has all of the VRR deadlines in hand.

Of course, Angel is the VRR boss after all, it makes sense that she is the responsible for the main decisions between all VRR series.

And you know, I can't really keep this a secret any longer. Time for roleplay!

After several days of silence from Team Kate Upton and the two drivers of the #76 Dallara IR-05, the official sponsorship deal for the last unannounced car of the infamous North-American racing team. A recent picture was sent to us from Team Kate Upton's publicity division, confirming that these are the final sponsors for the car. Drivers Nico Costa and Denny Cylon have also confirmed the veracity of this picture, further proving it is not a rumor. And at long last, the meaning behind the mysterious slogan chosen by the team to describe the car has been explained by the sponsorship deals for the #76; a partnership between a thief and a chain of Panda-themed restaurants?

The main sponsor of the car was set after a deal with Japanese manga author Megumi Tachikawa, as well as animation studio TMS Entertainment, for the use of Tachikawa's best known work; Kaitou Saint Tail. A 7-volume manga turned into a 43 episode anime between 1996 and 1996, Kaitou Saint Tail was once described as "Sailor Moon meets Saint Tail" by American company Tokyopop, when the manga and the anime were translated by the company in America. Of course, the chassis #2909 is adorned by main character, young 14-year-old Memi Haneoka, in her guise as the "female Robin Hood"; Saint Tail. Nico and Denny's main sponsors, Japanese media mogul Bandai Namco and American fast-food restaurant chain Panda Express respectively, round the list of sponsors for the #76. Painted in orange, the car also posseses a pink stripe, perhaps paying hommage to the outfit of Saint Tail, which has a skirt painted in two different tones of pink. The program for both drivers has also been confirmed; Cylon will drive in all oval races, while the Portuguese driver will follow suit by driving in all road tracks. While neither have a strong Indy Car experience, hopes are high for the Atlantic pair.

Nico Costa told our OTBS representative that "First of all, I must thank Miss Tachikawa for accepting our deal, despite the show's age being rather advanced. I am very happy to recreate my own personal childhood memories (author's note: the show was broadcasted in Portugal under the Canal Panda channel), while keeping our main sponsors close. The Portuguese has also told us that "While I would've prefered a full-time program to hone my skills, my other commitments don't allow for that possibility. Therefore, I am very happy that TKU has provided me with a chance to run this series, even with a limited schedule."

As for North American Denny Cylon, we have not yet reached him for contact, but we will host an interview with the Oval driver of the #76 soon enough. So, keep an eye on this space...

I've figured out how everyone's driver stats will be. It'll be even so everyone will have the same driver stats which in effect should make the racing very good.

So in essence we will all be using the same driver ratings for this championship? Interesting, it does even things out because no one has a clear advantage over the others, as all ratings are equal...

After some heavy thinking and making a list of alternatives, Angel and I have decided it would be best to scrap the Indy Lights idea and do something else that isn't already being done by RACE or TIRE. Indy Lights, while it was a great idea, with the limited driver pool just isn't working as it was envisioned. So now, I get to do things not done by anyone else. This includes DTM, IROC, V8 Supercars, Whelen Euro Series, ARCA, Brazilian Stock Cars or others.

The ones in bold would be good options.
