If you could make up the VRR Super GT schedule, what 9 venues would you choose?

NEW SAFETY CAR PROCEDURE - @ANGEL WILL HAVE THIS IN PLACE TODAY
  1. SCD (reason) called - overtaking strictly prohibited
  2. At a reasonable and safe racing speed, complete your lap and pit if you choose
  3. Once the overall leader reaches the line (or pit-out if in pits) - slow to 62mph/100kph
  4. The field will queue up behind the overall leader in the order they reach him/her - if a car is exiting pits while another is passing on track the order will be determined by who reached pit-out first, as the car on track should start slowing once they hit the line prior to pit-out.
  5. Once all cars are queued up behind the overall leader, cars trapped between the overall leader and THEIR class leader will overtake the overall leader, in order, and take a wave around without passing amongst themselves - this will happen at the call of the race director
  6. In the event of more than once class needing wave-bys (3 classes or more in a race) - each class should be waved by separately, faster classes first
  7. Once the wave around cars are caught up, there will be a single file restart at the line - the race director should indicate when the race is restarting
If there are any questions please ask.

🤬, I'll just miss the race. So pissed off right now with how long this game is taking to load.

I ran 30 laps in FP2 without a single mistake, plus 10 in FP1

Then at qualifying and race I felt like commiting all the mistakes I didn't during practice.

Reminder that STCC is at Daytona tonight. Hopefully we get a good grid.

Make sure it doesn't die. :P

It's basically Russian roulette but with a $400 piece of technology.

At least my old girl is still going strong after 8 years. :sly: I've only had one hiccup for it's entire life.

Logitech reliability is really the best.
If any game is gunna kill it.Its going to be Project Cars. The wheel has some serious heat after 1hr of use.
I can imagine.

Anyways, I'm not going to derail this thread with my saltiness. Good luck to everyone during the rest of the season.

I tried my hardest, but my mistake on lap 14 completely screwed over my strategy. By the time @Whitetail was in his final laps, my front right was basically wrecked. More importantly though, I at least finished ahead of @DcrRaikkonen which keeps the title race tight.

Good racing by everyone yesterday. Shame to see @Angel and @GTRacer22 retire in the Hiroshima race, I was on my toes with that GTR up my backside. A big congratulations to @nascarfan1400 and @GranTurismo916 on their 1-2 BRRT sweep of GT300. Whilst I am happy PlayStation Network decided to work yesterday I am still a bit disappointed to see the compatibility issues between drivers on the grid. Always a bummer when someone doesn't get to race.

As for the STCC races at Daytona those were also really fun, especially the rain race. It has been a while since I raced in the wet and I actually enjoyed that challenge. As for the incidents at the beginning of both races, I reviewed them and all appear to be racing incidents with no one at definitive fault. Avoiding the spin right in front of me at turn 1 was both lucky and amazing, I suppose backing out early in anticipation helped my cause there.

Enjoy your off-week guys, as well as the races scheduled for April 9th, as I will be at a supercross race downtown that day. Hope you all have fun.

Bonus image: I had a massive crash practicing and ended up hitting the overpass before the start/finish line. Scary.

@Angel; There's a mistake in the race distance for the Suzuka 250. My maths shows the distance of 86 laps would equate to nearly 500km when it should be half that at 43 laps, especially since the F1 race is just over 300km at 53 laps.

It was 500km originally, I assume that it was shortened and she just forgot to change the lap count.

I'm seeking a driver to pilot my #1 Black Rose Racing Lexus SC430 this weekend. I will not be able to attend the event as I'll be headed downtown (Indy) to watch the FIM supercross event. The race is 250km for 43 laps around Suzuka this Saturday (I think you need to be there by 4pm EDT) so if that works for anyone please let me know. Once I have a driver lined up I'll explain rules, liveries, etc. further in a PM. I don't know if I'll get anything out of a relief driver for a 2x-points event like this but even then keeping one more car on the grid would be great.

If you're interested please let me know. Thanks.
