As several drivers from Virtual Reality Racing are now aware, I am involved with helping set up a series with cshardy62096 and trobes29. A month ago, cshardy62096 had asked for my opinion on starting a series regarding the Suzuki Cappuccino Touring Car. Being honest, I thought it was a good idea in theory, but not with his reputation. He had led two series before, the Total Endurance Championship, which slowly fizzled out quietly, and the Turtle Beach IndyCar Series, which many well know ended in a big fiery explosion of tempers and mismanagement. As many do, I had my serious doubts that this would be different. A week went by, and he talked to me again about it, going over ideas for regulations, tracks, and a possible timeline. This became different. Hardy isn't someone who asks anyone for an opinion. It's either his way or nothing. But he was asking me and at least two others for advice on this. He looked like he really wanted to do this. I helped him with figuring out a road course set up and race distances, in which case he kinda disappeared for about two weeks. Sunday morning, I got a PSN message asking if I wanted to race. I declined as it interferes with stuff I have to do, but after looking at the way he has it set up, he deserves a chance. I gave him the advice that has worked for me here; take what people say seriously. They say it because they want it to succeed. I wish him best of luck and I hope he does well.

Ran at Tsukuba for 30 minutes and got a best lap of 51.525

I should be there this weekend for the Tsukuba race, however just as last week I have done little running due to family issues as well as school work and editing.

I've run for a half hour total.

can anyone tell me what the starttime is here in little denmark ?
Are you GMT+1 or GMT+2?
Hope there's a fair amount of GT3 drivers this weekend. I'm excited for competition. Also, I just saw that Clayton does have a GTP now.
Doesn't change the fact that he isn't allowed running in my series.

dahmmmm u2 , i allmost thought that it was me that wasnt allowed in the series , because the first time i read it , i read it like u 2 were talking about me , and my heart allmost needed a jumpstart with that full stop it made hehe :scared:

After running at Midfield, I'm almost certain it will get into the calendar. I'm praying it does.

Current scheduling looks like this with 6 days to go in voting.
Exhibition: Daytona, United States
1: Laguna Seca, United States
2: Midfield, Ireland
3: Ascari, Spain
4: Spa, Belgium
5: Nurburgring, Germany
6: Tsukuba, Japan
7: Motegi, Japan
8: Suzuka, Japan

Everyone who's voted for Modern Monza needs to switch to 80's 👍

Gravel traps are better and the Lesmos are the way they should be. :D

If that were to happen, it would likely bump Nurburgring out of it's spot unless it pulled more votes than Spa and Midfield.

I'm surprised you put Nurburgring on the list, and more surprised people are voting for it. I like the track but it is a bit dull.

I had to put it on the list. It's an iconic track. I didn't expect it to get on the calendar, and there's still time for that to change, but it would be a shocker.

Yeah, that's understandable. It didn't make my top 9, I tell you that much

But that said, neither did Tsukuba. Can somebody explain to me the appeal of that Mickey Mouse circuit? Don't get me wrong, it's not horrible, but it's hardly breathtaking.

It's I guess that race where anything can happen. I like it because there isn't a lot of room and you actually want lapped cars as it keeps the leaders together.

Its a short track but Road Course whats there not to love about that :D

MidField would be in Ireland ?
I usually get creative and give PDI tracks a location. Ireland is a place that doesn't have any racing prominence, so it went there.

It's like nascar short track racing, a lot of action that typically ends in a fight between a hot head and the most calm person on the circuit. :D
