If you could make up the VRR Super GT schedule, what 9 venues would you choose?

THREAD UPDATE 2.0: The thread has received it's first massive update, with all information now located within easy to navigate buttons (spoilers). This will make the transition from Season 1 to Season 2 much easier.
S2 SCHEDULE POLL: The voting ends on 04 March. @JACKOLANTERN1 @trobes29 you two are the two I know of that haven't voted yet. Every vote counts unless it's Suzuka apparently.

SEASON 2 REGISTRATION: Those interested in signing up for season 2 may now do so. Drivers from S1 have the special ability to reserve their S1 number and car selection.

May I just ask why you've included GT500 cars in the GT300 roster? Because to me that doesn't make much sense.
Oh, and I've already voted.
Why? They're detuned. And I found out it isn't the car that's so fast. It's just a good tune. The speed between the Garaiya and the Supra were even.

I guess my thinking is along the line of, GT500 cars should be in the GT500 class and visa versa. Not trying to question your decisions, just doesn't make much sense to me.

I'm trying to make it realistic. There aren't 8 different GT500 options in real life. There are 3. In GT300, you can have old prototypes, GT3, GT300, at times older gen GT500 cars, and GTLM cars. That's why GT300 is so different from GT500. GT500 is the premier, expensive, elite class, while GT300 is the cheaper, privateer, bring-what-you-can-get class.

Tsukuba practice overall went okay outside of an invisible wall incident. Looking forward to Sunday.

i would like too register for the next season and i would like too keep the supra , but in the gt500 class instead :gtpflag:
Supra won't be in GT500 next season. Look at the OP.

TSUKUBA RACE DAY: Tsukuba FP2 is open. Drivers meeting in 55 minutes.
EDIT #1: Drivers meeting starting at 1:15 p.m. EST

My internet has just gone down and crashed my PS3. Internet back, recovering file system, will be there soon. Carry on if you're going.

I would like to file for a regulation change. I believe the Subaru Impreza GT300, is lacking in power. Not because of the track times. But the lack of straightaway speed I don't have, being in front of other GT3 cars is bothersome to them, let alone GT5.
I figured I would ask on account of me being nothing more than a moving obstacle in the last race to both classes. Thank you.

Everything is on the table at the moment. I'll have more tomorrow when I release the race results.

The after-race post will be quite a massive one. Race Program, Rule Changes, and I will address a giant elephant in the room...attendance.

I won't add weight to the cars. That limits how successful the success ballast actually is. I'll test the Subaru tonight after I watch the replays from FP1 and the race.

Kinda tired of 7 people showing up every week. If you cant show up all season just tell @BRRT_Angel And for Season 2 #11 Nissan GT-R GT500 :)
We would have had 8. Keep in mind, before every race reset your router.

  • After I did a little research, I found that I had personally screwed up a good bit of the balance in the GT300 Class when I moved the class from Medium to Soft tires. Therefore, effective immediately, all cars must now be using Racing Medium tires. This rule will likely stay in place for the rest of the season.
  • Recently, the 1.16 update has messed with the physics with a few GT300 cars. The Subaru Impreza, Toyota 86, Subaru BRZ, and the RE Amemiya will receive a slight horsepower increase. This will be notified to all users of these cars (@Cole Brown @JACKOLANTERN1 @PEAGLEZ7 ) via PSN message on Monday.
  • It is now a requirement for all participating drivers to attend the pre race drivers meeting. These meetings are held after Free Practice 2 at approximately 1:15 p.m. Eastern Time. Failure to attend these meetings for a first offense will result in drivers starting at the rear of their class grids. A second offense will find those drivers starting from the pit lane after the GT300 class has taken the green flag. A third offense will result in that driver not being permitted to race. @DcrRaikkonen @PEAGLEZ7 You two have already used your first offense.
  • Pole Sitters for each class found to be 5 mph over the pace speed at the start will be penalized 30 seconds off their total time. If the pole sitter jumps the start, that is doubled. This is in reaction to the GT300 Class jumping the start by a total of 110 meters.
To the drivers that try their hardest to show up for each race and persevere through pain, cramping, boredom, tiredness, griping, and the occasional confusion, this is not targeted to you and I want to thank you deeply for helping me learn and make this series better.
If you look at the original post (OP), you'll find that there are 22 drivers signed up for this series. If you were outside looking in, you'd think that having 22 drivers would be a great thing. Neverending competition, constant battles to stay in the top of your class. That would be a utopian paradise. For those that are among those 22 and are as frustrated as I am, I don't blame you. Of those 22, only 15 have made any points attempt so far. Of those 15, only 4 have started every race. I understand that several of you guys like to sit around and watch cars run an oval for hours, and I understand that there are a few that are in other series that overlap. But of all of those people, only @Whitetail has had the ability to say "Hey I won't be there." If he can take the time from his schedule to be in a room with me and say "I will" or "I won't be there", the best you can do is answer a PSN message when I ask. For those that haven't made a points start yet, you have until Autumn Ring on March 22 to make a start or you're being barred from competing at all. The ignoring, the goofing off in official sessions, the nonsense that happens during practice on Friday has to stop. Drivers are not wanting to race because someone is either drifting or doing donuts or whatever, or someone is wrecking them because they don't know what serious is. I don't know at this point what I need to do to get people with common sense in here. I've let you all determine the calendar, I've spent hours in rooms letting everyone practice as long as they could, I've appeased to some extent every complaint that has come to me. I spend every Sunday making sure that the results are posted quickly and thoroughly so that everyone can spend more time focusing on what lies ahead either elsewhere or in VRR. There are dedicated people, like @NinjaEvo who has been the only full time GT300 driver, and @NearCptNitro who has a schedule about as busy as mine, and @MrRossy46 who brings everything he has to the table every time he hits the track. We need more people like these three. We need people like @Whitetail who are able to help make this place better by giving advice and by racing clean. We need those kind of people. I've seen what every single person signed up is capable of when you are racing elsewhere. Can you please bring that same 100% best quality here? That is all I ask. That alone will make this series thrive more than I could ever be happy for. For those that continually show up and/or help me improve the series, I thank you sincerely and gratefully. For everyone else, I challenge you to do the same.

Thank Angel. So will I receive 15+ Kg next race? Also, do you have any idea what the Hp bump will be. If you need help testing anytime, let me know. I'm usually Around.

As stated before I wish I had the time and will to do this full time. Unfortunately this can't be the case, and I have to put your series on the backburner at times. That's nothing to discredit you or the time you took to organize this, it's just that real life gets in the way as well as my full-time online racing commitments. I will continue to do this series as time will permit me and give constructive, helpful advice as I see fit. 👍 Thanks for your efforts and commitment to this series Angel, it's not gone unnoticed.

Not to nit pick or anything, but I'm assuming being late for the meeting counts as not attending?
