If you could make up the VRR Super GT schedule, what 9 venues would you choose?

The thing is, it's not just about NASCAR, it's that I watch it every week at my Grandparents watching it with my Grandpa. I'm not gonna change his schedule and my schedule just so I can run a league race. To be honest, I would of taken other racing series schedules into consideration and ran these races at a different time.
It's a family thing for mine as well. My dad, brother and I, that's what we do.
My problem is that I have no other time slot available for that. Saturdays are an automatic no, Fridays are out of question as well. I either have work or school the other four days of the week. I either bump the races up earlier in the morning (based on Hardy's amazing AUEC experiment, I know that the idea will also not work) or run them in the exact same timeslot Formula Cup/CTCS/Whatever else Hardy crams into that evening slot, which will cut a lot of you in the middle.
As for that, I will be more committed to you're league's, than his. Seeiifings track record with leagues, I don't expect these to finish. I would like to be pleasantly surprised. But do not expect it. So overlap with his, whatever. I'll be able to make them if they're earlier. Or later.

Here's the issue. He moved around a lot of things to avoid clashing with me, trobes, or anyone else of relative significance. I was the one to give him the advice of starting it later after everything's settled. I'm not about to rob him, especially when I have an interest in the series too.

Virtual Reality Racing (VRR) is a small organization focused on bringing the best, most realistic virtual racing around without the hassle of jumping through hoops like in other places. We look to provide exciting, close, and clean racing in what we produce. The primary series for Virtual Reality Racing is the Super GT Series. Both the GT500 and GT300 classes are used in a multi class format for our timed endurance events. Our races are 90 minutes with 15 minute qualifying, so these events aren't for the light hearted. Below you will see our regulations, rules, and other guidelines of information.

Ways of the VRR Super GT Series
Due to the limited capacity of the online GT lobbies, the points system used in VRR Super GT is that of the 2009 Formula One points system, with the 8 GT300 drivers and 7 GT500 drivers earning points. Drivers that DNQ or forfeit the race will not earn points (See: Super GT Racing Guidelines)
1st: 10 points
2nd: 8 points
3rd: 6 points
4th: 5 points
5th: 4 points
6th: 3 points
7th: 2 points
8th: 1 point (GT300 only)
  • The Outright Drivers Champion is the combined standings between each class. All drivers are classified based on the number of points they have earned. It is possible for a GT300 driver to win the Outright Drivers Championship.
  • The GT500 Championship is as name implies restricted to just the drivers of GT500 Class.
  • The GT300 Championship is restricted to just the drivers of the GT300 Class. (Go figure)
  • Manufacturer Championship is for the makes of each car, in each class, determined by the best finisher.
  1. All drivers must respect all other drivers' nationality, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation. Any discrimination fron drivers will lead to harsh consequences on my behalf and/or on behalf of GTPlanet moderators if it is reported within their site.
  2. Race everyone with respect. This is a clean sanctioning body, and deliberate dirty driving will result in suspension.
  3. All regulations are tested by myself, and may be changed if enough valid proof is given. Asking for your car to be changed because you are too slow in it doesn't mean the car is underperforming.
  4. Penalties are handed out fairly based on events, and what the telemetry records with on track events. Any request of appeal will result in picture evidence supporting the penalty. Please respect the calls made and do not argue the facts given.
  5. Quitting the race is considered disrespectful. I understand emergencies happen, but don't quit because you are having a bad race or because something happens. Let me do my job.
  • Each VRR Super GT race weekend is comprised of two Free Practice sessions, a group qualifying session, and a timed endurance race.
  • Safety car periods are not in effect in this series to reduce downtime in the race. If there is a massive crash involving a majority of the field, a red flag will be thrown and all cars will head to pit lane the lap that they are on when it is called. If it's an internet related problem, all cars will park in their respective grid spots and wait to be released back to the event lobby for a restart.
  • The podium for each class in each event will earn success ballast for the next event they participate in (See: Success Ballast).
  • Each race will start with a manual formation lap. GT500 class has a pace speed of 62 mph/100 kph, while GT300 has a pace speed of 50 mph/80 kph.
  • Super GT is a touring car series, which means door to door racing happens frequently. Do not mistake close racing for bumper car racing. That will not go well with your peers or me.
  • Depending on driver rating from pre-season, to mid-season, to post-season, drivers can possibly be moved from GT500 to GT300 if there isn't confidence that the driver can cleanly race in GT500. Drivers can also be denied entry if they have a bad reputation or are known to not follow rules.
  • Track boundaries are the white lines designating that the racing surface ends. Curbstones do count as an extension of the track surface.
  • Getting reset in the pit lane will earn drivers a mandatory 30 second post race time penalty. Do not race into the pit lane. Pit boundaries are considered part of track boundaries that should be followed.
  • Success ballast is used to level out drivers between events. This is to keep one driver from dominating the season.
  • Contrary to prior practice, success ballast will only be handed out after the race itself to the top 3 finishers of each class.
  • Success ballast will be applied based on how many points a driver has in the overall drivers standings.
  • In all races except the last race of the season, each point will be worth two kilograms of ballast.
  • In the last race of the season, ballast will be removed from all cars.
  • Each season of VRR Super GT, outside of the inaugural 10 race season, will feature 8 points races and an exhibition.
  • Voting will be held to determine the three Japanese, five international venues, as well as the exhibition venue for each season beyond the first season.
  • Race distances will be limited to 90 minutes to give people better ability to finish races under their own power.
In the event that an optimum field is reached, standard group qualifying will take place directly after the mandatory drivers meeting and will immediately lead to the race itself.
In the event that a class is overfilled. fastest laps from Free Practice 1 or Free Practice 2 will determine who races and who doesn't. If an eligible driver doesn't show up for the drivers meeting, an outside driver will be brought in.

Season 2 for this series and the Blancpain Sprints have been postponed indefinitely. For those unaware, I have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer for the second time. This season should be able to reach completion, but do not hold me to that. After that, my only race appearance for the rest of 2015 will (hopefully) be the GTPlanet Endurance Series 24 Heures du Mans in June. I wish everyone the best and I will see you guys when I see you. Thank you.
P.S. FP1 for Suzuka is tonight 6:00-8:00 p.m. EDT

Really hope you're able to kick it's 🤬 again. Hope to see you better soon! If you beat it once, remind it who's boss and beat it again!

Me and @NinjaEvo running laps for GT500 and GT300 respectively. Looks the the championship could be set in stone...

Currently 5 GT500 cars in the room and a sole GT300. Double points on the line, I should remind everyone,

I'll race whatever class has fewest cars, to even it out all I can.
That isn't entirely necessary. Ninja is prepared (sort of) to step up to GT500 if absolutely no one else shows up.

Every race deserves a multi-class aspect to it. It only takes 2 to make a race and my R8 isn't set up for Suzuka.
