Probably destined for Am class given how difficult it is to get on top of the RS. I could have dipped below 2:00 if it weren't for careless errors.
 
Still need alot of practice since i couldn't practice the last week. Will the fuel and tire changes be on in real races to be more realistic?

Same here... I knew about the no racing line, but I'll admit I was practicing with my road cones being on. Get to the room and quickly discovered they were disallowed too. Now that I know about it, I'll be able to practice properly.

Also it seems like my settings changed, as I had them almost to perfection for my style for Nurb GP... I've got to do some research on how to lock those in!!! Anyways, I've seen the pace now, and have the numbers in my mind to give myself incentive to improve my pace.

That seems to be a widespread issue of having setups and things like traction control and brake balance reset.

I've read about the issue concerning the Daily's, but I didn't realise it carried over to the normal lobbies as well. Now I know...

As long as you manually save before exiting the game, it shouldn't be an issue.
 
Fun little competition between @TNR_KING_FILO, @Antares26, and I for the top spots there. That GT-R is just too tough to beat, never mind putting Filo behind the wheel! @Ax4xGearHead also had good pace, which was not a surprise coming from the TORA ranks. Big thank you to @Eva for the administration and @nascarfan1400 for broadcasting it all. Best of luck to all testing next weekend!
 
Looking at how the lap times have panned out so far, the previous system of relying on a percentile mark looks to have been misjudged. Decided to revert to a more basic system. Top 14 on the time sheets will be Pro Class. The other 18 will be Am Class. And since there's been just 14 that have completed the testing, it's still all to play for and fair to everyone.
 
Good session, was really fun chasing after that one tenth to @Whitetail when @TNR_KING_FILO inevitably steamrolled the timesheets. Lots of people surprised me today too, we're looking at a pretty competitive field in both classes so at this rate.

Comfortably in Pro unless everyone laps two seconds quicker next week (please don't). Just need to iron out some things with the car and getting used to the pad changes from the patch ahead of the first round.
 
Glad to have completed the placement qualifying session. I'll most certainly be in the amateur league. Thanks to @Eva for putting this on and thanks to the others in the lobby for the advice on tuning my car so I can control it a little better and hopefully put up some more competitive lap times in the future. Been doing some private testing in preparation for group two's placement test next week. Set up the Porsche RSR on RHs, with BoP enabled, and clocked a 2:00.030. Fastest I've been able to run so far, and I haven't gone to change much in the setup - lord knows I'll find a way to make it undrivable.

Nice to see I have some decent pace, even if I'm 3.5 seconds off of P1. Might just squeeze into the Pro class, but if not, it'll be nice to have a strong car in Am.

"Let me start by saying it was a great time driving with such skilled and experienced drivers. This is our first season racing with the Team Continental Honda NSX and today was a real learning experience for the whole team. I had a lot of trouble keeping grip on the rear tires and we made efforts to make adjustments each time we entered the pits but the issues persisted. We've got a young crew and we all have a lot of room for improvement. Today was a great learning experience and we'll be taking what we experienced on the track today and making the appropriate adjustments moving forward. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Continental, Alpine Stars, GoPro, Tag Heuer for hosting this event, our caster @nascarfan1400 , and the organizer @Eva. Big shoutout to @Whitetail, @TNR_KING_FILO, and the others who put up great times today at the track. It's been a great weekend in Germany and I look forward to seeing you all in Japan in a couple weeks."

You've completed the test, so that leap frogs you up a bit. Until the 18th, I won't know who the 32 will be for certain.
