I'll join us asual, but i'm not sure if can join the last race as i might have to attent my grandma's birthday party that particular weekend. I let you know which car i'll take, this time i'm going to test more extensively. I don't want to end up with a slower car this time :). The Ford GT is quick, i don't know about the other cars yet.

I forget. Is this the same Chevrolet we used in an event a few championships back? :)

I have a nice picture of my Ford, I'll put it on in an hour or so.

Also, have you considered using the Aston Martin V12 Vantage in an event sometime in the future. Even just a one off one car endurance race. So in love with that car right now.

I don't know yet which car i'll take. I must say the viper ACR surprised me a lot. It somehow feels slow, but it is a fast car. While running in the car at the Nordschleife, without pushing it really hard i lapped a 7:19:xxx. Its now at third place behind the Veyron (7:06:xxx) and the McLaren F1 (7:09:xxx), and in front of the Enzo and Aventador. Well, on my list that is... The ACR should be able to do a 7:12:xxx, that is its real live record at the ring. Challenge accepted! :)

The vette ZR1 is a beast, it feels very alive and is a pretty handful to drive with DS3. I haven't managed a decent lap time on the ring with it. The Ford GT has yet to be driven with :). To be continued.....
 
Have any of you bought any of the new DLC? I'm interested in the new GT500 car, as well as the 2012 GT-R.

Literally just bought it. I bought the Honda and the Subaru. Honda, because it is a new car, Subaru because it has a few different panels, also I think the spoiler is different. The GT-R though I didn't want. If you open one up tell me and I'll join. Got nothing to do for a while.
 
Sorry, but my eyes have bee nhurting for the last hour or so. Not sure what the hell is happening. Certainyl can't drive like this.

I might buy the new Honda, the others probably not as they are pretty much in the game already.

And no, its not your eyes that makes this picture weird. I fooled around with the settings, it looks a bit like a painting or something.

"My computer is down due to a virus." He is still willing to host todays practice if enough people are interested?

Update: He said he will cancel todays practice because it would just be him and MattieM. He also said he is going to try and reboot his computer today so hopefully he should be back online by tomorrow but he said he can't be sure.
 
Ah that explains his absence lately. I'm available this weekend, so i'll be interested in a practice session or track day.
 
Quick update on my brakes. I'm not going without ABS at Daytona, that first corner. :nervous: I can't do it with Racing Softs and ABS nevermind Sports Hard and no ABS. However, I will be running the Indy and Laguna races without it. Lets just hope I remember to change my brake balance after Daytona.
 
I want to at least get one practice session in before our first race, so at 18.00GMT on wednsday, I'll host one. It won't be too long (max 2 hours), but it's the best I can manage on work days.

With a teaser pic underneath it. I'm going for the Viper ACR, the Vette is too much of a beast for me the DS3 :). The Ford GT and the ACR are good rivals, both lapped almost the same laptimes at indianapolis.
 
Guys, I'm really sorry. But I have to move today's practice session to friday. The time will be the same, and I might also host one tomorrow. I'm sorry guys, I just have a lot of things circulating atm.
 
The practice session tonight will propably start a little earlier than stated in the OP. It will start with regular practice with the cars on the tracks that we'll race on. And after that, we'll do some Ring track day. Maybe we can even have some small One-Makes.

You all comming?
