Which part of your PC was broken?

Short update about my 24 hr race: i covered 7 hrs so far and now have a 3 lap gap. I've passed sunset so next hours will be driving in the dark, still no rain so far.

You could still join a track day. Suspend Endurance. Back up to memory stick. Cancel, race with us. Reload Data, continue with the race.

That probably will work, but i don't want to risk losing the save data. I hope to have passed the 12 hrs mark at the end of this weekend.

Which part of your PC was broken?

When replacing my cooling fan with a new one, I failed to properly connect it to the motherboard, which resulted in destructon of the motherboard... Cost me 2 weeks and 1274DKK to fix.

I hate PC's.

I think i would be more annoyed for the reason having no PC for two weeks rather than the repair costs.

While you were PC'less, have you tested other cars for a new event?

Off topic: It started to rain in my 24 hr race . Wet conditions at night is not suited for the 787B, my pace is now about the same compared to the no 2 car. I hope the rain goes away soon, i really don't like it.

Yay, finally finished my 24 hr race. 370 laps driven and a 12 lap gap at no 2 car. It rained from hours 7 to 20, so there was a lot of racing in the wet. I did one stupid thing though, i started the race with 110% login bonus.... . Still received near 8 million XP, getting real close to level 40 now. Maybe the 9 hrs at Tsubuka will be the next one to tackle, unless there will be a track day/test session this week?

9h Tsubuka is one hell of a boring race. I did the Mazda then this in succession. 13 hours there. Near suicidal

I'm currently 5,5 hrs through the race. I'm trying to do 2 stints of 50 laps every evening. I'm using the Mine's BNR34 GTR skyline, my lap times on SM are in the range of low 57 secs (fresh tyres) to high 59 secs (front tyres 10% left).

Seems pretty good idea. I'd have done it in the Suzuki GSXR. Be like a track day. Swap tyres around. Blast a hundred laps on SS. Then switch to SH or comforts.

Well, I'm officially out of the army. While I won't miss the long waiting periods, and the morning inspections. I sure will miss the great people I've met in there.

On the plus side, I now have plenty of time for GT5 again. And I've spend some time today looking at cars for future races. So far, I've come up with a few ideas.

Mitsubishi Evo '05 VS Subaru Impreza '05.
Peugot 207 VS Citroen C4.

I've also bought the Motegi track pack. Interesting track for sure. Who else has it? Can it be included in the races?
