On the plus side, I now have plenty of time for GT5 again. And I've spend some time today looking at cars for future races. So far, I've come up with a few ideas.

Ferrari Enzo VS Lamborghini Murcielago SV.
Mitsubishi Evo '05 VS Subaru Impreza '05.
Peugot 207 VS Citroen C4.

I've also bought the Motegi track pack. Interesting track for sure. Who else has it? Can it be included in the races?

If anyone is interested, I thought we could have some testing and racing tomorrow at 17.00GMT.

what tyres? the enzo is quite a handfull on SH, while the lambo is easy to drive thanks to its awd.

Mitsubishi Evo '05 VS Subaru Impreza '05
If they're as good as the RM versions, its going to be mighty good :).

Peugot 207 VS Citroen C4.
don't know about this one. It sound slow :) Though that one make Mini race at our last ring track day was fun, it was close racing to the finish line.

I'm not at home until this evening, so i can't join the session today. Plus i don't have motegi either... I don't know how much money i have left in my PSN account, if it is enough i might buy it :).

Welcome back Andy:)

I might come in later for a few laps, before Karts:sly:

I have Motegi DLC, I think you have to get it to use online:scared:

How about some stock hot hatch's.

The 207 and C4 are hot hatches. :)

I've opened up a room.

Edit:
Having driven around Motegi for a few hours now, I actually really like it. It's great for racing, and requires serious skill to master with fast cars, as you need to time braking and entry point just right. Buy it Mattie!
We need this track in future races.

Sadly, M8h3r and John couldn't stay for very long this evening, so we only got to test the Enzo VS the Aventador. I think the Murcielargo SV is a better choice, though more testing is needed.

Would any of you be interested in a testing session thursday, at 18.00GMT?

I think I'm free. May be a little late, depending when I get home from work. Should be there by 18:30 at the latest.

No one else comming tonight? Perhaps we should postpone it to tomorrow?

Up to you. Just waiting for the bus now. Would be same time every day of the week for me. Except weekends of course when i curl into a ball and don't leave the warmth of my house for this icy nightmare. :dopey:

Well, if it's okay with you mate, then I'll say we postpone the session to tomorrow at 19.00GMT. That way, you should be able to make it home in time, and the rest of the guys might be able to join us. :)

But only if it's ok with you.

Tomorrow is better yes. I just got home from work, still need to eat something. See you guys tomorrow then.

No, i took a brief look in the PS store but couldn't find it... I'll take a better look tomorrow. I bought far cry 3 for PC, that one got me hooked lately :).

Just find GT5 in the store, and look under the DLC tab for the game. The new store design is actually pretty good once you figure it out.

Got my new controller. Maybe I can now control the Enzo. :dopey:

Control is an illusion. There's no such thing as control in a Enzo. Just temporary peace before the storm.

Couldn't be bothered to type this on PS3.

On that point about chicanes on Nurburgring. Wouldn't it be great if GT6 had a track editor when you could edit current tracks. So for instance you can put a chicane or two down the straight. I think that'd be a nifty tool.

As a result of tonight's testing session, the Enzo race is off the table (for now). Instead we'll have a rather big championship featuring the Subaru Impreza '05 VS the Mitsubishi Evo '05. Both in stock form with Sport Hard tires.

The tracks list as it is now (not in any particular order) will be Suzuka, Tsukuba, Tokyo R246, Spa, Nurburgring 24H layout, Grand valley Speedway and a snow track.

Evo Scooby should be good. Going non abs for this one. Worth a try. Ill more than likely fail quite badly but it's worth it. :)

The track editor should include ramps and loopings as well :). Remind me of the good old days with the racing game Stunts 👍.

Stuntman ignition, ever played that? :P

No, never heard of tbh. In the young days it was test drive 1 and 2 and stunts. And then there was Gran Turismo (insert heavenly sound here).... never left it since. The area in between consisted of GoldenEye/Perfect Dark on the N64.

Tourist Trophy was awesome too, i hope to see a successor from this one some day. Or include motorcycles in the GT series.

Happy Birthday MIster, abit late I know:tup:

The Enzo was hard to drive:nervous:

Sounds good:)
