I could be very interested in joining (can come with a team mate) but for some reason I can't see any details on the OP of events/cars/drivers or anything! Yet it seems you have all decided on cars ETC. Am I just not seeing it or is there just no info confirmed yet?

Think we've stopped doing actual events now I'm afraid. Can say 100% this will be up an running for Gran Turismo 6 though.

I think the last one we had was the last racing series for GT5. Which is a shame really. I'd love to have one more racing series on GT5 before everyone moves on to GT6.

As the others have said, I've stopped hosting events for the time being, as a result of too many people signing up and then not attending. The Series will likely resume once GT6 is out. Though I'm not sure when I'll actually buy GT6.

I will keep an eye out for future series of similar type from you :)

EDIT: Great trackday with you guys, we haven't been in the same lobby for a long time! I can't wait until GT6 comes out and the racing series continues :) .

Formula One... Would be far more interested in a film about a Le mans driver, or GT. But still, worth a look when the time comes.

I kinda wonder whats going on behind the scenes at red bull racing. I think Mark Webber is not happy at all with Sebastian Vettel. When Mark was on top gear the other day, J.C. asked if he'll mis his teammate. It took a while for Mark to answer that question in a polite way :).

Btw yesterdays ring day was great fun, it was hard to keep up with the gallardo's in the SLS AMG. PP wise (559 vs 537) the SLS should detroy the gallardo's easy but it wasn't easy at all.

Mark Webber is racing Porsche's LMP1 at the 2014 Le Mans, so i think he's quite happy. He's moving up in the world. Getting away from the F1 crap. :)
 
Look for the film Le Man, starring Steve Mcqueen from I think 1971. Mcqueen raced bikes and cars during his career as actor.
Another film Grand Prix, very good for its time, starring James Garner, from 1966, shows what it was like in F1 at that time. Race drivers Graham Hill, Jim Clark, Jack Brabham, shot on tracks Spa, Monza using the banking. No computer graphics in these films:)

Grand Prix, James Garner. Both readily available on DVD, from Amazon, Duke and HMV if its still open:)
 
Just googled that Lemans film. Looks alright actually. Especially this part:

There is very little plot and very little acting; the movie entertains primarily by the sight and sound of Porsche 917s and Ferrari 512s, iconic racing cars with lots of visual and audio appeal to racing enthusiasts.

Lots of new GT6 info! Here's a quote from the official GT site.

"In Gran Turismo 6, features that were not supported officially in the previous title will now be included: online lobby time trials, drift trials and races with qualifying rounds are just a few examples. Users will also be able to create customised rooms tailored to their favourite play-style and these settings can be saved and shared with others."

Also, BRANDS HATCH! Love that track. Top gear Test Track is gone though.
Also, Pagani Huyra-gdsngdsgdsvdsvdsf-something is in the game. Can't spell that name :).
 
I'll miss chilling at Top Gear but it was poorly implemented into Gran Turismo 5, like a lot of stuff. It had what, 2 special events and 1 A/B Spec race and if you went there online you knew you'd be visiting GT Auto for a Chassis Reinforcement.

I too am a fan of Brands Hatch, simple track but makes some good racing, bet I can guess where Series 1 Race 1 on Gran Turismo 6 will be for us lot.

Given? They aren't given such things. They pay for it same as Turn 10 did.
Other than that, I do agree. They really didn't use that license well. Nor did they use their NASCAR, WRC and GT500 licenses very well.

Also a bit worried that the GT3 cars currently announced are the only GT3 cars we'll get. Was hoping we'd get all the current cars, excluding Porsche of course.
