So, ha!

Yes - and how many people in this thread have one or multiple SRT-4s?

Thanks for helping, but I want people to see how the whole discussion started off. Basically I disagreed with you, and you immediately took it personally and started trying to prove me wrong. Why do you want to change my opinion? I am aloud to have one no? Whether you think its right or wrong? Why try to bash me? Did I bash you? I just asked you to consider other things in your comparison, and those came afterwards in the form of cabin size specifications. And you repeated them over, and over, and over. Finally I decided to make the WRX as close as possible to reaching the specifications of the R32 by building one on the Subaru site. The result was that the WRX was 105$ cheaper. Now compare the two cars realistically. Remember, one is a hatchback, the other a 4-door. They both have their merits:

-WRX is faster, has a cost advantage in stock form, gives you four doors ( hence more cabin space - and I agree, fold-down seats can be really annoying ), better fuel efficiency and can tow (for the ppl interested it can be a good reason, I dont deny it. Like hauling around a boat to go to the lake or something of the sort.)

-R32 comes equipped with everything in stock form, the interior quality of the materials is of higher quality, the exterior finish is also better. It comes with 18" alloy wheels with sport performance tires( WRX is 16" with all-seasons ) and a 6 speed manual. It has better handling capabilities, an better braking.

The R32 has more than the WRX, but I will leave it a that. I think the comparison is pretty fair now. Basically it comes down to which car looks better IMO, and thats up to other ppl to decide, not me.

I hate the fact that the SRT-4 is so good for the money. I cannot argue with this one. Chrysler has made an incredibly fast compact car for once, and the price is unbeatable. But are there going to be any Focus RS's in North America? Those are faster than R32's and WRX's around a test track.

Have a look at 'personally' in the dictionary. Since I realised that you simply weren't going to admit you were wrong I have been treating this thread as nothing more than a joke both here and on AIM.

Why do you want to change my opinion? I am aloud to have one no? Whether you think its right or wrong? Why try to bash me? Did I bash you?

Not only did you bash me, personally, but I did NOT bash you personally.

And yes, you're aloud to have an incorrect opinion. While in the dictionary, have a look at 'allowed' and 'aloud' and their differences in meaning.

I just asked you to consider other things in your comparison, and those came afterwards in the form of cabin size specifications. And you repeated them over, and over, and over.

And even after that, you still say all I'm using is 0-60 and 1/4 mile.

I would've given up this argument long ago if I actually believed you were going to walk away from this thinking that I was right, but defending yourself so as not to make you look like an idiot here.

Unfortunately, it's my belief that you actually still believe you're right. So I concede - yep, I concede. I concede to you, who has used the phrase 'how many stupidities will you write,' and who has confused 'aloud' with 'allowed' because there's no sense arguing with two things: religion and idiocy (some might say those are one big thing, but I don't), simply because religion and idiocy ALWAYS believe they're right, period, and they rarely have facts to back it up. You're no different, and you get to decide which group you fall into.

Keep fighting the incorrect, poorly-constructed fight!

Damnit man. I am giving you a way out of this argument, and you go and sink yourself back into it. Its like if you admit you are an idiot, and dont want me to overlook it by me trying to agree with you on some things. Just stop. And yes I may not be the best speller (man did I **** up "allowed".. ) but you dont need to use those to pass your point on the whole thing. I cant hold a grudge on a person for a long time. Im letting this one go. No matter how much info I can find for you, you will never agree with me. Even if Subaru would call you up and say the R32 is a better car, you would still refute that. There is no more point in this thread. Should be closed.

If that applies to me, it should also apply to you.

vat_man, I will. There is no more point discussing this. I dont know if M5 is just playing along to get me frustrated on purpose. That would be a heck of a good prank on me tho if he was... :banghead:

Oh - I couldn't imagine him ever doing anything like that....

So the conclusion of this whole thread is the fact Doug will be driving around in a WRX Wagon. :D

Don't be surprised if I put an STi on my wishlist based purely on what was discussed in this thread.

I'm going up to a Subaru dealer in northeastern Oregon next week as I've located and will be buying a very rare version of the Outback sedan - you never know what else could happen. :D
Doug - don't duck out of this - I'm getting too much enjoymnt out of it!

The last argument I didn't duck out of was because I was enjoying it and I still get PM's from the person about how much I suck, so it ends. Sorry! :D
If that applies to me, it should also apply to you.

The small difference is that I actually posted statistics to back up my arrogant tirades. Yours were simply a lot of hot air.

Damn you used that PM BS before I did. I thought it would be abit too evil to go that far. And you try to make me look like the bad guy here... are you a lawyer?

I would like to understand why your point of view on the matter is better than mine, because right now I cant. So can you make it clear once and for all, WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR IN A CAR TO SAY ITS GOOD, or better than another?

What? I used the PM BS before you did? What are you on about?

Well, for one thing, it needs at least three doors. Because let's be honest, coupes suck. After that, its steering wheel needs to have four contact points between the wheel and the center. Because, let's face it, anything less is just uncool. It needs to have a good brakelight design. The current Civic sedan's, for instance, is great. Also, wheels are crucial - if the stock wheels suck, then so does the car. And finally, it needs to be Japanese because we all know that Japan makes the only reliable cars.

👍!!!!!!

Why cant you answer seriously? I would like to understand your point of view. Im not joking around here.

If we haven't got humor, Rick, what have we got?
I dont mind humor. But you dont need to turn things into ridicule all the time. Here is some humor for you:
If you were a company called Powergen, and you had a subsidiary that
operated in Italy, what would you call that company's website?
Probably not .......

http://www.powergenitalia.com

But, in fact, they did
:D

In all honesty here Doug, there is no point in using a condescending term towards anyone. Personnally I enjoy talking/Argueing/Objecting with you. If others take it personal that is their fault, but the fact that you used this line you have now put yourself into a personal aspect into this conversation and I don't agree with you doing that.

Hey - that was a joke as was the entirety of that post. Like I say, I stopped arguing seriously some time ago.

I really hope Doug gets to read this. He was saying a WRX was better than an R32... so why is the R32 being compared to the STi and Evo 8 ??? No more comments here. Just glad I found this article.
I think it should be compared to a 1991 Ford Explorer Sport, 2004 Nissan Maxima SE, 1988 Daihatsu Charade 3-door, and 1996 Buick Riviera so I can ask you why it's a small SUV, sport-large sedan, budget hatchback, and luxury coupe... all in one!!
