Well I got on looking to race Roger, had everything set up, we started and had a real good, enjoyable run until contact at the hairpin pulled a penalty on Roger
In my rush to set the room up, I must've turned them on by accident, solely my fault for not paying attention, but we agreed on a redo, I was eager to keep racing, Japanese car vs. Japanese car makes for good racing, especially when the 2 were rivals back in their day
After the start, I smacked my RR quarter panel into the wall at the on-ramp to the first corner, slight damage but still driveable, once we got to the exiting on-ramp, my lead started increasing rapidly, my first thought was he damaged somewhere too, but worse
Held the lead by quite a distance until the hairpin, where suddenly Roger appeared on the mini map at a very high speed, looked in the mirror and saw him spin and crash out violently, by the time I had exited the the turn, he had left the room and went offline.
I'm not considering this an actual battle, maybe something happened out of his control on his end (power outtage, game freeze). Until we get word from him, take this as a report from my end of what was a truely enjoyable 'practice', hope he's alright.
