You might want to spend a bit more time learning where you can go 2 wide on some of the tracks and where it is definitely a bad idea. Outside at Degner 1 there is almost always a terrible idea where you will get run off. Just practice a bit more with learning times and places to pass. As well as learning how to set up a pass so you can plan a bit better. It's just inexperience and more practice and racing can help. Probably doesn't hurt to watch some steamers who are fast to see where they think is good to make a move and where they just hold station as it's a bad place to try anything.

Yes 100% your fault, but it's not dirty, because you didn't harm the other driver's race.

You shouldn't try to overtake at this corner, especially on the outside, it's too fast and too sharp. Sometimes even though you're approaching a corner quicker than your opponent, you just need to back off and wait for another opportunity.

The safest way to overtake in a corner is placing yourself on the inside (on the right of the track if the corner turns right) and brake slightly after your opponent.

Also when you review the saved replay in game (you do save your replays?) Look at it from the other drivers view and at different driving views like chase cam etc. To see what exactly happened...

Not your fault but if you attempt to overtake around the outside of the degners you'll end up in the gravel 95% of the time.

It's better to overtake into the hairpin that was coming up, or in the run down to spoon after the hairpin.

Thank you for the advice. I must admit I thought everyone was supposed to respect each other's "line," regardless of their position on the track. However, considering your observation and what I've noticed in several races, it would indeed be ideal for me to practice passing spots and avoid overtakes like the one in the video. Thank you very much!

They can only do that if they know you are there, which is always important to consider, and why reviewing the other drivers point of view is important.

Switch on the radar as well, this will give you a much better idea of where you are in relation to the other cars around you, giving a much better insight into your and there awareness.

Very nice driving with TC0, I see why you went for the pass; he defended the corner and really it just compromised him for Degna 1 and 2… so he probably wanted you to try and go round the outside as you had such a high closing speed but ultimately you just fell into the trap

You could have made it stick but it was a high risk move with a lot of trust on the other player, only experience can give you a better handle on when and where to pass, research can help along with the advice others have given here.

Personally I would have taken the racing line through Degna 1 and got through it smoothly, there’s a chance with his line he’s gonna go wide there and you could then switch back and take the inside line for Degna 2; if he makes the racing line tail him, brake slightly earlier for Degna 2 and try and get on the power earlier out of Degna 2 to get a better drag on the inside of him down to the chicane, if you’re ahead on the right jink under the bridge you can cover a divebomb into the chicane by coming slightly left into the middle of the track and make yourself large into the braking zone for the chicane

This is all driving style dependant on the person you are following; if you are catching over a number of corners/laps watching where they struggle and where they are hot can give you a clue of where to make the pass; there’s always a way if you are quicker! Patience is hard to master but will make you quicker almost 100% of the time

Yes. I am seeing some youtube videos and trying to be more carefull. But the online is a world without rules. Even if I take a "safe" distance sometimes someone will come and just crash me at 300km/h hahaha

Thanks! I am practing a LOT to be a better drying. I am loving the game. If possible I will be playing this 24/7.

Nope, it won't teach them anything. All it does is make you a dirty driver too.

See above. If you hit a dirty driver, it just confirms to them that that's how they should be driving. It helps no one.
