No real comment on the race itself, but those cakes they baked for the GTWS winners in the post-race looked scrumptious.

I imagine they'd get a lot more GT2/GT3 GTWS signups if you won a PD-baked cake for winning those divisions!

Now that was close and fun race!

Personally I would love to see more GT7 esports events, but I have the feeling that it's not very popular. Even here, within the community, it doesn't seem to spark a lot of interest.
I'd say that I kind of share that impression too.
After the final Race around Tokio has finished, I briefly had a look at how many watchers were following the Stream and a poorly 3digit number of just 947 caught my eyes.
Nevertheless I personally enjoyed watching the race.

Not as far as I know.
But he is half Turkish. And half Russian.
Hence he races under the Turkish Flag I suppose.
This is the first time that I see somebody saying that I am half Russian xD
Where did you get that information from?

I actually explained myself on youtube before but I would like to copy paste that message to here too:

“Regarding the nationality I will be using there, some of you (especially the german supporters I assume) might be wondering why I am driving for Türkiye instead of Germany. I will try to explain it here:

Even though I was born and raised in Germany my whole family is Turkish so I was always raised with both cultures in mind. Hence I drove for germany in 2019 and won the Nations Cup for Germany but used my turkish account to win the Manufacturers Cup in 2020 (still being the only one to win championships for various countries hehe).

Although my family being turkish, I am still grateful for being born and raised here in Germany as I am 100% sure that I wouldn’t have become the person I am today if it wasn’t for that.
Last year I already “represented” Türkiye at the Race of Champions so my goal was to represent for Germany this year and switch it from there every single time (e.g. 2025 for Türkiye, 2026 for Germany, 2027 for Türkiye, and so on).
However it was my mistake that I forgot to ask them to change it for this year so I would like to apologise to all my german supporters for it. Nevertheless if I am given the chance to compete at the Race of Champions next year again, I will try to represent for Germany instead and ask for your support once again! 🙏🙇‍♂️”

OK so apparently I must have mixed something up, respectively I have misunderstood something
Man many years ago ( GT Sport ) days 2018, I remember when we used to occasionally race together in my open lobbies with Cody Nikola Latkovski and Igor Fraga I swear I asked you about your name, that it sounds Russian so I think I just assumed that part of you actually might be Russian, apologies my man 😬
I was talking to Cody and he told me that he is half Montenegro/Bosnian and me being half Croatian and half Slovakian so... Yeah my bad 😅

Anyway glad you clarified things...
Stay safe my man and take care 💪

Almost forgot you had an account on here. lol

I've been meaning to ask on Twitter/X once you've posted the group photo with PD, but... was Daiki Kasho there at the party this year? Couldn't spot him anywhere during the stream.

Interesting race, I. Fraga and M. Hizal are really something else, still on the top. And, I am looking forward to possible new star drivers in 2025 season, maybe some new countries represented as well...
