It was a poor poor job who ever had control of the video? Last half hr i tuned in for 3rd time just to c the end, they were getting all excited over fans battle he was in. So ofcourse they didnt show it, what a shame???? As for e-h team as they said, u never had a video moment except for when the lmp car passed u? U moved out of the way once and they gave u props on a gentleman driving. Good job guys i tried to catch a little of all ya, congrats on popping ur cherry on the main stage!

The commentators were talking about the battle Fan was having and all you see was the Damn LM55

it is a new experience and my heart got a bit bumping during the pace lap, feel like in a real race where everyone is crawling @ 60km/h behind the SC, getting exciting when approaching the line when the SC went into the pit, that was something different and new!! and all 4 tires were in deep-blue color cos the slow lap, being very cautious not to spin out on the first lap was tricky... lol
My stint, honestly, I can only say "ok", not the best driving, got stuck behind the orange GT86 for many laps and the Xbox was all over my mirror. The thing was that GT86 was all over the place in front including getting off track, over the curb but seems the race-control were only focusing on the leaders, thus I wasn't able to do anything cos that GT86 was just like weaving in front of me, he didn't do it in purpose cos I can see he was actually trying to save the car from spin out.
Somehow my laptime was quite slow compare to testing, about 1-1.5s off.
but the good was my laptime was steady the whole 29 laps, and I manage to save a pit stop.
only glitch was I spin out once when defending the 2 Xbox, mainly because i was trying to give them room and eventually put myself on the curb and
anyway, it's a good experience, woke up at 3:30am to run the qualify, lol
but then I couldn't get back to sleep between the qualify and race!

I going to Pccars. But will most likely go for the PC version.
PS4 is not an option at the moment because of a lot of reasons why sony pissed me off over the last 2 years.
Starting from loosing millions of user accounts, to really bad conectivity for GT servers in GT5 and GT6 (people not seeing each other, disconnects in the races, no DDos protection what so ever. So every holiday the game not online playable) to this years GT Academy fiasko not to mention that "security chip" issue for the wheels and not logitech support.
It is a hard step for me because i just want to race with you guys but that company just pisses me off to much to get a single cent from me again.

If that is true what they say and GT is really peer-to-peer. I am even more embaresed than I was before.
You can not put your online connectivity soley in the hands of the users around the world.
The argument about having seconds of delay if sony would have hosted the sessions ist just plain stupid.
Because every modern Esport title is hosted on seperate Servers not peer-to-peer. Dota 2 for example on Valve servers and those games are must have games for pings under 30ms.
If they use peer-to-peer it explains all of the problems you can not expect from a normal user to have all port settings and firewall settings on his router right just for the PS3 beeing able to see people in a race.
In Europe you sometimes dont even get the Admin passwort for your router.
I know what I am talking i have a bachelor degree in computer science. It would also explain why the problem seems to be bigger in europe because our ISP have strigter regulations on firewalls and PORT clearance.
Does anyone know if it works the same way on the PS4. That would been a desaster for the Pcars community and every other online game which uses a lot of resources.

what they are talking about, i think it's more on the setting of the router thus letting the PS3 can access the internet without any filter can solve the problem, thus has to setup a profile or separate setting for the PS3 on the router could solve the problem.
I haven't really look into the details on the solution yet but I think it's worth to read.

I usually don't have a connectivity or host issue.
The April 15th problem was my fault. I got lazy and didn't turn off/rest my modem and router.
I also didn't clear out the junk in my PS3.
So far I have no problems with my PS4. Sony knows they have the lead over the Xbox.
Their not going to let if fail easily.

Just arrived in budapest, pics to come tomorrow for you guys. There is a strange feeling being in parts of old russia, and old taken land of hitler. Im learning all kinds of history over here. Project cars comes out in a few days here but i will miss it by one day i think. Would be funny if i flew home with a copy and could rub it in a little , hehe!
